Never Ever: Things I Won't Try Before I Die

So Little Time, So Many Choices!
You've heard of The Bucket List, haven't you? This movie raises the question, what would you do if you knew you had XX amount of time to live? If you didn't catch the movie, maybe you've run across Creating a Bucket List: 100 Things to Do Before You Die here on Squidoo.
Well, this ain't no Bucket List. Think of this lens as a reverse Bucket List - a bucketful of experiences I think I'll skip, thankyouverymuch. I thought I'd organize my never-gonna-do lists nice and neat in this one lens as a point of reference, in case my mind fizzles out first.
Besides, I am asking you to join me. Share your never-ever's with the world.
Ready?
Never or Wait and See?
Which are you?
Which of these would you rather do?
Fetching blurbs now... please stand bySing a solo in front of a large local crowd.

I'm pretty good at eating and I've swallowed my share of things that others find unappealing. It's the "crunchy" part that gets to me.

Eat a crunchy deep-fried insect.
Pukeko says:
can't sing, hate the humiliation and the deep frying might make it tasty.

I'd choose neither, but if I were forced to choose, it would have to be the insect. :::gulp:::

My Life, Condensed
Then and Now

Ok, so I'm sort of old. Not Mona Lisa or hieroglyphics-old, but older than iMac, Nintendo Wii and Twitter.
But when I was young, I thought I might want to be an archaeologist. I liked the idea of digging up ancient relics, dusting them off, and recording them in thick, important journals. Then I learned that archaeologists aren't home much. I was a homebody, so I decided not to join any hole-digging expeditions halfway around the world.
When I reached the ripe old age of seven, I read voraciously, spending huge blocks of time with a book, curled up in the thick V of my favorite tree. One afternoon I fell 15 feet to the ground, right at a juicy part of an adventure story. Skinned my legs and elbows, but the book fared well.
:::fast forward:::
Married a soft-hearted military man. Had two beautiful children. Made a few quilts. Wrote a ton of paper letters to friends and family. Became a writer. Dove head-first into computing. Fell in love with research. Spent quality time around lots of summer campfires. Discovered a love for nature photography. Wrote a few more books. Created a couple of websites. Became a blogger. Journaled the Stuff of life in 25-cent spiral notebooks. Traveled here and there. Forged lasting friendships. Grew a vegetable garden. Replaced my lawn out back with flowerbeds and paths. Rocked grandbabies. Discovered the joy of jewelry design.
Oh, and I walked into Squidoo one day and never left.
And so it goes.
