Shaving
This is a pretty obvious application. Here's the problem, you have to do it every day or every other day. Shaving involves scraping a sharp metal blade across the surface of your skin, removing not only the hair but also the top layer of essential oils that help moisturize your skin. In 1998 Peter Bjerring, Henrik Egekvist and Thomas Blake from the Department of Dermatology, Marselisburg Hospital, University Hospital of Aarhus, Aarhus Denmark completed a hair removal study comparing the efficacy (how well they work) and safety of different hair removal methods.

Researchers Bjerring and Egekvist completed a second study comparing involving needle based electrolysis and the radio frequency hair removal system (Finally Free).In this they study, they introduced the radio frequency hair removal patch method (Finally Free) and compared it to the radio frequency hair removal tweezer method (Finally Free) and the needle based electrolysis method. The aim of the study was to compare each of the three for efficacy and safety.Each method was used for one treatment of test areas on 10 volunteer subjects. Each area contained 50 hairs and hairs in the test areas counted weekly for 9 weeks. The reduction of hair numbers was compared to a shaved control area.RESULTS:The results of the study showed that radio frequency tweezer and patches are as effective as needle based electrolysis, Finally Free with the hair removal patch permanently removed about 63% of the hair in the treated area with a single treatment.

When rated on a 0 to 100 scale for pain there was a significant difference with the radio frequency tweezers rating a 7.3, the radio frequency patches rating a miniscule 0.2 while the needle based electrolysis a whopping 53.1 on the 0-100 scale.Final Analysis:These landmark studies clinically prove that Finally Free is a effective as needle based electrolysis but without the pain and side effects.
