Today amidst the increasing & changing instability of our world's economies, jobs and our lives, many people just like you and I are always looking for that comforting constant. Yes, a constant. That one thing that you and I know will not change and we find comfort in knowing that it wont. That constant could be your favorite TV show that comes on every Friday night, or that one night a week you get to go out to dinner or a movie with your best friend, spouse or partner, or that other constant that we all rely on...A PAYCHECK! These days, not everyone gets a change to have the luxury of relying on that constant. In fact, for most, a paycheck tends to be more so than a constant reminder that may put butterflies in your stomach, than a "comforting constant." That is why I have decided to come up with my idea, to help bring more comforting constants into your life with what we have to offer.

By now, if you are still reading, I have hopefully peaked your interest. Most know that this particular site that you are using right now offers ways to help you generate money, if you so wish to do so. Its simple and easy, and all you have to do is put a little effort in it, and just like anything, you get out of something what you put into it. Well, with that being said, what I have done is taken some time and effort as well as a few GREAT ideas of my own and created a website to where you can benefit from in more ways than one. The site is www.eartisans.net. We will be launching our site officially on Feb. 1, 2012. What is it you say? Basically, in a but shell we are an "online consignment shop." "OH, THAT'S NOT NEW," you think to your self, but wait there is more...

Okay, If you're still reading by now, I hopefully have your undivided attention :-) . Eartisans.net is going to help you bring an extra comforting constant into your life, and maybe even more than one. Our mission is to provide you, the consumer options. First of all lets explain in detail what we do. Our concept of Eartisans.net is form a consumer standpoint and a business standpoint. Our website is going to host products that are hand crafted and hand created by local artisans. These products could range from jewelry, to paintings, to nik naks and more...as long as the products are handmade! Our goal is to provide a place for that person you know who has the talent to make the most beautiful ____(blank)____, you have ever seen. They may make "it" for fun, or they may make it for gifts, but doesn't have the time to find ways of showing the world what he or she can do. That is where we come in. That person will be able to go to our site and place their products on sale FOR FREE! We do not charge a posting fee, or a monthly fee, or limit the time you have to sell that product. What we do, is Host your product on our site, and when someone else goes on there and sees that thing they just cannot live with out (your product), they can buy it! You will hold on to your product(s) until an order is placed. Then, with the way our site is set up, we will notify you of the order, as well as to whom it's to be shipped to and where, and then you send off your product and the customer is happy. NOW, obviously that's not all. Obviously the customer has to pay for shipping and handling and the product its self. SOOO, on a monthly basis, we will run a detailed report for each of our vendors (you, the product maker), verify what was sold (which you will be able to verify as well, because remember, you shipped the product(s), and pay you. You will be paid for your product, and reimbursed for the shipping costs too, (remember, the customer pays for both at the time of check out). SO, not only did someone benefit from our site as a consumer who found a VERY unique high quality hand crafted product, but you, the product seller, is now able to make money off of selling things that you enjoy making, and there isn't much involved other than you running to the post office now and then to send off your beautiful product.

Now, why are we a great option for you compared to other consignment boutiques and websites? Well, for one, we will work with you to help price your product to not only sell, but we will price those products for you so you can get paid exactly how much you want to be paid for each product. Two, you are not going to be charged to post your products on our site or be limited to how many you can post. Three, we are not going to limit the time you have to sell the product, (so there is no pressure on you). Four, we have the ability to give you access to the back end of our site to go on, upload your product(s), the descriptions, the prices, and more! Five, you will be able to run specials and promotions as well as sales and coupon codes. Six, we can give you the ability to blog about your product(s) (directly on the site), to help promote the product(s) and get the word out on your future product(s) to come. Seven, there are no minimum amounts of product(s). EIght, we offer you the ability to create collections and styles to categorize your products. Nine, we offer our customers many ways to pay through our great integrated shopping cart. Ten, we are a small business, and will be able to help you with whatever it is you may need help with. Eleven, we can pay you, the product maker by Pay Pal transfer, Check, or Money Order. As well as so much more. As you can see, the amount of success you have is up to you. We are super flexible with the site, and can help you in any way we can. How the Eclectic Artisans team makes their money, is by a consignment fee. But don't fret, we will work with you on the pricing to allow you make what you desire on each product. We are going to obviously use sense in pricing each product together, as we want to target a price that is best for you, us, & the customer without the price being unreasonable for the assiciated product.
Since we are just getting going, we still have so many other ideas that we have not officially implemented but are also going to be great tools in helping you with adding that constant comfort. The Eclectic Artisans Team is still discussing and brainstorming even more ways of helping everyone with adding more and more "comforts" into your lives. One of which is a referral option. Basically, giving anyone the ability to refer a vendor and both the referrer and the vendor get paid for that newley referred vendor's sales, affiliate marketing, CPC, unique promotion ideas for the customers (which is still super secret right now and will hopefully be an option for you soon), Online forums, meet up groups based upon customer and vendor locations to set up a "swap" or "art/product fair" & local consignment(s) events, customization of individual product pages, that way there could be a social aspect to the site. Another idea is in the future that we eventually would also like to have is the ability to act as consultants to serious artisans and artists trying to establish themselves. But like I said in the beginning of this paragraph, these are just a few ideas that we are still floating around with here and these ideas in this paragraph are not official yet. We do not want to divulge ALL of our up and coming ideas and secrets, as there would be no surprise for you guys when they do arise.
