The Art of Living, by Norman Vincent Peale

This book is, for want of a better description, the sequel to the very famous, and popular Positive Thinking book, first written in the 1930's.

May I suggest you not be taken aback by the date, or think the information is out of date- quite the contrary.
It is probably more applicable than ever, and I have found that the book provided me with much needed guidance, and inspiration, to help me reach the very fantastic place I am now at.

I wish for this book top provide you with the same inspiration, encouragement, and help it did for me, and countless thousands of others.

I will outline my thoughts, and ideas to hopefully encourage you to reacj your highest goals and achivements too.

Understanding Belief in Yourself

Faith is about believing the impossible, and knowing it will come true

"To be a champ, you have to believe in yourself when nobody else will."

Sugar Ray Robinson
1920-1989, American Boxer

I have included the above quotes to inspire you and let you know that with faith, anything is possible.
It has been proven too many times, to be an issue of question.

Norman Vincent Peale- Art of Living

Reading the book is certainly a wonderful way to regularly follow up on great information, but below, you can hear the author as well.

What does the Power of Positive Thinking Do For You?

Having read the original version of this book in my early twenties, I can assure you from personal experience that the material in that book has massively helped me reach the mile stones I have needed to be at. Let me explain more, and more imprtantly, what this can mean for you.

In life, for a less than confident person, or anyone not fully aware of their true power, they may periodically think that all they want is beyond them.

Purt another way, you can, and have it in you, to achieve anything that you may want. You really do.

We all suffer from different problems in life, but the secret to overcome these problems and reach the points of success that we want, is to not allow these problems to defeat us.

It is heartbreaking to see how many peole are defeated by everyday problems, and I am hoping to help you saee through all that, and 'work a certain way, to overcome all.

Art of Living, and Reaching Beyond Our Problems

Problems can be surmounted

Please note, I am not minimising people's genuine problems. The secret, however, is learning to see the problems we all have in a different light, and learning soecific techniques to overcome them. To explain this, I think back to people that have survived torture camps.

Using this example, whilst some have survived.- many have perished. What is the difference?

I know this is not a cut and dry issue, but as an example, the survivors had the ability to focus on a desired goal, a desired point of success. It takes a lot of effort, and a lot if dedication, but we can all learn the skills that help us move above the mundane daily poblems many of us have.

I do not for a moment suggest that some problems need tio be minimised, but we need to ensure our focus is right.

How many people do you know, (if not maybe yourself), that focus on the problem, rather than focus on the result desired.

It is a subtle difference, but it really does make a difference.

I recommend you consider this carefully.

I also know it is easy to say, but I think you get the idea.

The Norman Vincent Peale Book, The Art of Living, is a book thart you can read in a night or two, but UI highly recommend you actually take the time to highlight passages, undersline the important sections to you, and more. This is a working book.

I have looked at my copy that is almost twenty years old, and there are sticky post it notes, and underlinings- to make it all work.

I think you understand.

I highly recommend you look at this book, as it has been a massive help to me, and I know that 15 million others have benefitted too...

How about you?

Believe in yourself

You can achieve everything your mind can concieve

Listen to, and repeat this statement.

You can Achieve everything that you can concieve in your mind, This is a well proven point, and I assure you you will move ahead, faster than you ever imagined.

I wish you all the best, and know, that you have it in you to be all you wish to be.

I am such a believer in this statement, and make a point opf learning, and practicing new things every day.

It is essential to be the best we can be.

Hence, I make a point of regularly ensuring that I am reading as much new material as possible, and also improving my information and learning input on a daily basis.

I recommend reading as well as the personal development strategy.
