    I agree with you about trapping cats, fixing them and releasing them. That is the best option for most of them tho some can become home buddies. I am also a fan of feral cats becoming barn cats - if they can be made domesticated enough for that. However, barn cats must be provided with heat and or a straw enclosure in the barn for the winter.

    Yes, and they need to be fed too and not expected to eat the rodents they catch. I'm always surprised by people who think having a barn cat is like having a rock in the yard, you just ignore it. Well, they need to be fed and when sick, taken to the vet.

    Hi Frankster,

    What a hoot! I love your page, especially the kitty sleeping on the radiator. It reminds me of my cat Shorty sleeping in the magazine rack next to the loo. Ha!
    My friend Kim and I rescued 150 feral kittens in Los Gatos, CA, and placed them in loving homes. I got the the cream of the crop, Nordie (Tortoiseshell, girl) and Shorty (Bengal-Tabby mix, boy)....here they are:

    I absolute love cats and I am allergic to them too. This lens was great. I found it very informative and fun at the same time. Outstanding job. I cannot believe I have not made a cat lens yet. I made a lens for my dog.... I am going to add this lens to my Free Pet Stuff lens under the Cats category and lensroll it too. Any cat lover will enjoy this lens!!!! 5*'s for sure.

    I am a cat lover. I have cats most of my adult life. I have a cat now, his name is Buddy and is my best friend. He is 14 years old and he is spoiled. Thank you for sharing your cat world.

    I really appreciate the bath tips. Cuddling the cat wrapped in a towel afterwards is a great idea. I have 5 indoor cats.

    Love cats, love this lens. I've spent my life looking out for stray and unwanted cats. They're such amazing animals. Big cats are great too, ever since I can remember I've wanted to get up close and personal with a lion or tiger cub, but no luck so far.

    Man you have really done a great job on this one as well I was just on your polar bear page and thought in couldn't get better but I was wrong. I can't wait to check out your other ones.     Gosh what can I say except Love it, Love it, Love it!!!!! I sat here and cried when I watch the cat and the crow. I have a lot of work to do to my lens to even come close to your wonderful lens. I truly love cats, and I feel your love for them through your lens. I once had 52 cats, this was a crazy time in my life, not good for me or the cats! I now have 15 cats and love them all.     Wow what an amazing lens site, I cant say enough about it, however I didnt find out what cats think when theyve had a bath. Well heres what i think, I think that they dont think about it at all if they can help it, they take themselves away to another planet once theyve realised the bath is inevitable and come back when the smell of shampoo has become a bit cat user friendly!

    Hi Frankie, Wonderful Cats lens. This lens is a masterpiece. You have put a ton of work into the whole lens. It covers just about everything about cats. The cat and crow vid is as precious as it is amazing. The humor pics and gifs are hilarious and the info is educational and valuable. I'm glad you love cats so much!     Great lens! Love the cats!

    Suggest you add lilies as one of the # 1 toxic plans for cats. ALL lilies; EVERY part of the lily. Even if a cat passes a lily and the pollen blows on him and then he grooms himself he could die. The younger cat the more if effects them. I know -I lost an amazing crazy wonder 1.5 year old last year when he chewed a bit on one lily. 12 hours later he was in complete kidney failure and suffered in the hospital for 2 days until I was sure nothing could be done and he would only get worse. It was heartbreaking. I could supply more info if needed.

    this is all about cats and their likes and dislikes.These come in different styles ranging from piano lights designed for tall uprights - where the piano lamp shines directly down, to a tall traditional lamp for very short pianos where the light needs to rise up and over the music.

    I really enjoyed this lens. I'm a cat person and love to have my cat with me especially when I'm sick. He seems to know when I'm not feeling well and stays with me. 5 STARS!

    Laughed until I cried when I watched the cat on the toilet video! Grrrreat lens, LOVE IT! Glad to see all the cat safety info...can never have enough, because too many cats get hurt by things people do, whether intentionally or not. Still drying my eyes from the video - hope he's ok. 5-Stars!

    I have a cat who's about 11 years old now and he just spontaneously started to use the human toilet on his own. He doesn't flush mind you but it's pretty funny to see him peeing in the toilet when he wasn't even trained haha.

    Great stuff Frankster - amusing and informative! I voted for ALL of the cats in the Flickr photo Plexo. I would be interested in seeing photos or links to images of the toxic plants. We often buy, give or receive as gifts mystery plants and could unknowingly expose a beloved pet to danger.

    My little buddies name is Mier short for come here.
    He jumped into my wifes car as she was leaving work one night and went straight to sleep.
    We had never heard of such a thing before as cats are normally very nervous around new people.

    When I was a kid, we had a HUGE tomcat I dearly loved, and he used the toilet all on his own, we didn't even think of trying to train him for that! It shocked more than a few people, I can tell you. He was incredible!
