HERE'S WHAT I THINK
The new Facebook is better!
There's a lot of fuss and bother about the new facebook, but I don't see what the big deal is! Sure, they've gone and changed it AGAIN, just when everyone got used to it... but give it time! You'll get used to this version too!
Once I figured out where things has moved to I decided that it was a huge improvement! Especially moving the applications into different tabs so that I don't have to wait for ages to load my friends' profile pages. I'm not exactly on super high speed internet here, so I appreciate having the choice!
Other things I like:
- Tabs tabs tabs! (Perhaps people are still stuck in Windows land??)
- The applications menu down the bottom. You can bookmark your favourite applications and access them straight from there!
- Comments on status updates. It's a bit more social now!
- Chat!
- More control over pretty much everything
- Plus other things that I'll add later when I remember them!
I think everyone just needs a bit of time to get used to it! (Again...)

I like that it loads faster, the chat and so on, although it was confusing to begin with. But now I am getting used to it, and can see the speed benefits it is growing on me. They still have a few bugs to iron out that I can see - but I just make sure I report them so they can do something.

Facebook User Against the New Facebook
Along with many other members of facebook.com, I am less than thrilled for the change to the website's newer layout. The new layout is confusing, hard to navigate, slow to load, and unnecessary. I do not wish for the new facebook to be deleted, but for the facebook staff to once again allow members to choose between the old or new layout. Remember, facebook.com can not exist without members.
