Choosing a New Kindle
You have a lot of options when choosing a new Kindle! We'll break it down into steps.
First you need to choose between these options
1) I want a color touch tablet with media streaming. Choose the Kindle Fire.
2) I want an eInk reader. I don't need a keyboard. Choose a new Kindle Touch or Non Touch

Kindle DX UK (must be bought from Amazon.com)
Two 6" screen models: Kindle 3G + Wifi and Kindle Wifi. And the 9" Kindle DX
So you'll need to decide which size of screen you want. 6" is standard screensize and good for travelers. The 9" DX is good for viewing detailed or scientific diagrams and kindle users with poorer eyesight such as seniors - you can use a larger font size and still get a good amount of text on the page.
If you have chosen the 6" size then you need to choose between Wifi and Wifi + 3G. The Wifi option gives you allows you to connect for free to Wifi hotspots at home and across the US - both 6" models come with Wifi. You can additionally get 3G support which allows you to connect for free through the mobile phone network in the US and over 100 countries across the world.
3G is the better option for those who don't have a Wifi network at home, and for those who travel and need to be able to connect wherever they are. The cheaper Wifi option is okay if you have a Wifi network at home and are okay with only having a connection when you find a Wifi hotspot.
If you go for the 6" 3G then you get to choose the color, it comes in graphite or white.
And one last decision if you choose a 6" Kindle, you can get a price reduction if you agree to receive advertising from Amazon on your Kindle (this is an option when you buy the Kindle at Amazon.)
