New Moon - The Next Movie in the Twilight Saga
The movie sequel to Twilight is called New Moon after the book by the same name. It is being filmed as you read this and will be in theatres across the world on November 20, 2009!!!
If you saw Twilight then you know that is it a love story. A hunky vampire named Edward Cullen and a human girl named Bella fall in love. They meet, fall in love, and face obstacles to remain together. Bella is so sure of her love for Edward that she wants him to turn her into a vampire but Edward just wants to be together for as long as they can be... human and vampire.
In New Moon the unthinkable happens and Bella and Edward face yet another challenge. Will love conquer all once again? Or is this the end of Bella and Edward?

The Plot: New Moon Movie
This is the official Summit Entertainment plot description: In NEW MOON, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love Edward (Robert Pattinson) but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and she finds her loyalties tested.In New Moon we find Edward and Bella blissfully happy until a very unfortunate event at her birthday party. Not only is Bella injured she almost become a vampire's meal! Not wanting to put Bella in danger anymore Edward decides to leave her. He and his family (whom Bella is very attached to) leave the town of Forks, leaving Bella alone and devastated.
In an effort to keep her father from shipping her off to Florida to live with her mother she decides to spend some time with her friend Jacob Black. Their friendship grows quickly and she comes to rely on him like a beacon in the dark. But the Cullen family isn't the only family that has a secret... Jacob Black is one member of a werewolf pack and they are the sworn enemy of the vampire.
A misunderstanding occurs and Edward is led to believe that his one true love, Bella, is dead. He goes on a mission to Italy to provoke an ancient vampire clan called the Volturi in an effort to end his own life. Bella races against time to save him and avoid ending up in the hands of the evil vampires known as the Volturi who are very intrigued by Bella. But will it all work out in the end?

New Cast Members!
Many of the cast members you already know but who has joined the cast for the second movie? Lots of great actors and actresses that's for sure! Most notably, actor Michael Sheen will be playing Aro, the leader of the Volturi vampires. You may remember him from his role as the werewolf leader, Lucien from the Underworld series. He has switched from werewolf to vampire for this role!Dakota Fanning will be playing the beautiful, angel-like, but deadly Jane. She will get to physically torture Edward and really show a dark side for this role.
The role of Volturi vampire Caius has been cast. He will be played by British actor Jamie Campbell-Bower.
And of course 4 talented hotties are joining Jacob to form the werewolf pack!
