I'm Flying High As A New Squid Angel

My plan is to keep track of the lenses I bless, categorized by the month of their blessing. My hope is to increase your traffic by a little as well as a little lensrank boost by the blessing. But most of all the recognition you deserve for a job well done. So I hope all will return often to check any progress made by your fellow lensmasters as well as yourself.

If you are looking for your lens that was blessed and can't quite find it, don't get frustrated...Just keep scrolling, The current month of blessings is at the very bottom of this very long lens. I'll do something different for 2012, but you know its all about the recognition and that all important backlink, now isn't it? So keep scrolling... There's your lens! Have fun!

I have been a knitter since about 1975. My mother tried to teach me. My grandmother tried to teach me. Many friends tried to teach me. I could not learn. Something was wrong with me. How could I not learn something that looked so fun and so beautiful? I was disgusted with myself.

Then one day I was at the hospital on break and I was sitting across from one of my nursing friends and she was knitting. I sat there mesmerized by the clacking of those needles. I wanted to learn this so badly but nothing in the world was going to make me face failure again.

She noticed me watching and asked if I knit. No, is all I said. She then asked me if I would like to learn. Sure I said, but I can't. Why not? Because something is wrong with me. I told her my story and she told me to come closer to her. I got up and sat next to her and she started showing me the knit stitch. It looked so easy but when I tried it just didn't happen for me. She watched me struggle and then suddenly asked, which is your dominate hand? I told her I was right handed.

Well I am left handed. She told me to pull up a chair across from her instead of beside her and she tried again. I watched her needles moving for awhile and it just sort of fell into place for me. She gave me the needles again and I have never put them down since.

I love knitting, I love everything about it. I even have a couple blogs about it. So it seemed like a wonderful thing for me to watch over and give blessings from these angel wings.

I love the movies.
I love looking at beautiful and handsome people
I love interesting people
I love a good story
I've had some practice watching movies
I recognize a good lens when I see it

So, with a second pair of wings, I plan to continue with the same plan of giving both neighborhoods backlinks by featuring them on this lens. We have some very amazing lensmasters on Squidoo and with the addition of both pairs of wings, I am pround to begin meeting you.
