Why send a greeting card this 2012?

At the New Year, greeting cards are the perfect way to express the appreciation and love you feel for your friends and family.They are a lovely way to remind your loved ones, near and far, that you are thinking of them not only at this festive time of the year, but all year round.

To understand just how important new year greeting cards are for some cultures, all we have to do is glance over at Japan. In Japan, it is customary to send friends, family, acquaintances, clients, teachers and basically anyone else you know cards called "nengajo," or "New Year's postcards." Over four billion of these postcards are sold in Japan every year.

Since finding the right new year card is not always an easy task, I have gone though the very wide selection on Greeting Card Universe, Amazon, eBay and CafePress and come up with, what I think, are the best of the best. These cards each have a unique and aesthetically pleasing design that will delight the lucky recipient!
