Are you into Activities that give you an Adrenaline Rush?

New Zealand is the place for those who love to get that surge of adrenaline pumping as they indulge in scary, out door activities that push them to the limit. If hanging from wires, flying through the air on a thread, flying through the sky with a handkerchief like sail above you, or bumping along a rushing river, hanging onto the side of a rubber boat, and desperately hoping you stay upright as you whirl through rapids and have near misses with rocks and boulders appeals, then a holiday in New Zealand is for you.

This must surely be a holiday of a lifetime destination for adrenaline junkies.

Fun activities for Travellers to New Zealand

Looking at a List of Outdoor Adventure Activities

New Zealand is a great destination for a truly fun holiday. With our amazing scenery and diverse geographic features, we have a natural playground for a whole host of exciting outdoor activities.

The home of the original bungy jump -we have over 10 different bungy experiences around the country. You can do a bridge climb over the Auckland Harbour Bridge, or the Sky jump from the Sky Tower in Auckland. The tallest tower in the Southern Hemisphere. If you find that too tame, you might like to do the Sky walk round the perimeter of the tower. You will be harnessed, but there is nothing between you and the ground below!

You can add to your adrenaline rush with some of these and much more :
Bungy Jumping, White Water Rafting, Jet Boating, Black Water Rafting, Black Water Rafting, Kayaking, Parasailing, Luge, 4 WD vehicles, Hot Air Ballooning, Tandem Skydive, Wakeboarding, Heliskiing, Mountain Climbing

If you are into rather more sedate activities, yet still exciting and fun, you will no doubt be looking at golf, fishing, sailing, swimming with dolphins, Whale watching, bird watching, cruises, bush walks, beach activities, wallowing in hot pools and more relaxing forms of fun.

And these are just the outdoor activities! I'll add more funtastic holiday ideas to this lense as I go. I hope you enjoy my ideas.

Spookers - The Haunted Hospital

Auckland's Scariest Entertainment

Spookers is for those who love an adrenaline kick of a different sort. Located an hour south of Auckland, Spookers was once a psychiatric hospital. It is a very popular form of scary torture that people actually pay for! If hanging from the Sky Tower is too tame - perhaps this will do it for you!It should be a good test of your staying powers!

There are several hair raising activities to participate in:

The Haunted House

Freaky Forest of Fear

3D Manic Maze with the Vortex Tunnel

On certain dates only :

Com Evil

Amazing Maze N'Maize

Spookers House takes 35 minutes

Freaky Forest - 25 minutes

Com Evil - 50 minutes

The Ultimate Experience is 2 hours.

This is only for adults. That is - over 16 years of age. However if your child loves being terrified, and you are happy for them to have a hair raising experience, they do have children's events on a Thursday night and Saturday.

So enjoy - and if you have a problem - it might be the only time you ever ask a ghoul for directions!
