FREE iPod? The truth is revealed

I'm sure you've seen the places where you can get an iPod for free. You get a free iPod for completing certain requirements. There are good ones and bad.

First the bad ones. You see an offer for a free iPod just for completing a survey. Stay away from those. The survey never ends and all you'll get is SPAM.

Believe it or not, there are actually some good ones. One is OrderGiftsFree. To receive the iPod, you simply complete an offer and refer others. Now, before you think that the offers are too hard or expensive, keep reading.

The offers are pretty simple. They are from companies such as Netflix, Blockbuster Video. Video Professor, etc. They are just trial offers, so you don't pay for anything unless you want to continue after the free trial, just remember to cancel. In some cases you might have to pay for shipping, but it's usually not much.

Referring others is easy for some and not for others.  There is a place where you can buy refferals. Although the iPod wouldn't exactly be free. it's still cheaper than buying it at a store. You can get refferals for $20 or $25. A 2GB iPod Nano would take 4 refferals, so that would be $80 or $100. You can also earn money by copleting offers for others. Everything is through PayPal. You can find out more about it at Swap Refferals Network.

Be careful when signing up for offers. There are some that offer a Free Trial, but then require you to keep the service at regular price for two  months before you can cancel. READ THE FINE PRINT! The b est way to avoid bad offers is to go to Swap Refferagls Network and go to the forums. You will find a forum on Scammer Alert. Go there to find out who the scammers are. You will discover who the REAL SCAMMERS are. Another place to check is Ripoff Report. It's best to do your homework first, before you sign up for an offer and then have to fight to get your money back. Don't forget to call your credit card issuer if you find any charges you didn't authorize.

There are college students doing this everyday to earn some extra money completing offers and/or getting iPods to sell on eBay.

You CAN get a free iPod if you are careful. Just take your time and don't rusj. That's how mistakes are made.
