Save time and create more great lenses!
Megan's got the official scoop on the new dashboard here and here. But I wanted to whip up a lens full of neat dashboard tricks, if you will, and less obvious treats that you should be sure to check out.

Plus, if you can pick out your most popular lenses, chances are good your readers would love to see more lenses about the same topics with a slightly different angle. Bonus!

Label your lenses
Labeling your lenses is a great way to keep track of categories, but did you know you can also use labels to organize the working process of your lenses? Here are some ideas:
- When you find a lens that needs some love, use a "to-do" label to queue it for future updates.
- Some lenses need constant attention. "Daily update" labels will remind you which ones to check on.
- Sports, news, and business are just three examples of topics that are ever changing. Schedule dates to update related lenses weekly.
- Promise your readers a weekly update? Label lenses with the day of the week to find which ones need that special update.

I do like the new dashboard, although MOST of my experience has been using it.
Thanks for these ever needed reminders about checking lenses. Some days, I just don't get the time to really look hard at my lenses, but these tips will help in my organization. Oh yeah, the sticky notes too!
