The Latest and (Sometimes) Greatest
There are some great original titles that have come out in the last few months of 2011, including Raving Rabbids and The Gunstringer. There are also some new versions of old favorites, including Dance Central 2 and Kinect Sports Two.

Kinect Star Wars
Released April 3, 2012
However, the game is receiving mixed reviews at the moment. If you're a die-hard Star Wars fan, you'll probably like it regardless. But if you're looking for the first real shooting game for the Kinect, this probably isn't it; you can really see in this other trailer that the gameplay looks a bit jittery and repetitive, but hopefully they'll fix it by the release date.
Kinect Star Wars
Amazon Price: $41.88 (as of 06/03/2012)![]()
List Price: $49.99
This game has everything you could ever hope for in a Star Wars game, from pod racing to spaceship navigating to piloting one of the speeder-bikes from Return of the Jedi. You've also got characters from the movies, including, of course, C-3PO and R2-D2 (how could you possibly leave them out) and a host of aliens, robots, and other creatures.

Mass Effect 3

Here's another game that will make use of the Kinect's voice command compatibility. If you've liked the previous versions of this EA game, then you're sure to like the newest release, especially with the new capabilities. Still, it's not quite to the point where you'll want to buy the Kinect just for the voice commands.

Kinect Rush
Released March 20, 2012
Kinect Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure
Amazon Price: $35.14 (as of 06/04/2012)![]()
List Price: $49.99
This game brings us back to all-Kinect goodness, by letting you get right into the action of several of your favorite Disney/Pixar movies. We'll have to wait and see if this game ends up being optimized for motion control, or if it's a half-cooked idea.
Release Date: 03/20/2012
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13
Released March 27, 2012
Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 13
Amazon Price: $39.90 (as of 06/04/2012)![]()
List Price: $59.99
Now this is what I think of when I think of the future of Kinect gaming. The game is completely whole as a standalone, non-Kinect enabled title. However, existing voice and motion capabilities will really add another dimension to the gameplay. Here's hoping we'll see more of this in the future!
Release Date: 03/27/2012

Binary Domain
Released February 28, 2012
Binary Domain
Amazon Price: $47.99 (as of 06/04/2012)![]()
List Price: $59.95
As far as the Kinect goes, this game is voice-command compatible only; however, it looks like voice commands will play a large part in the game. It's being made by Sega, and is set in a fantastic Tokyo-based environment. Includes single-player mode and a multiplayer campaign for up to 10 players.

Zumba Fitness Rush
Released February 12, 2012
Zumba Fitness Rush
Amazon Price: $39.99 (as of 06/03/2012)![]()
List Price: $49.99
Despite somewhat lackluster reviews on the original Kinect version of Zumba, it actually ranked as #5 on my list of the best Kinect Dance games. Luckily for all of the Zumba fans out there, this latest franchise release has blown away the previous version, with better motion tracking, more routines, more dance tracks, and more all-around fun.

If you're a huge fan of the show (unlike me; I'd never heard of it before learning about this game), this game will be an easy choice. Even if you aren't, the fact that it allows for creation of "music videos" with or without a group of friends is of interest. For more information, check out this pre-review.

Media empires are rushing to put their stamp on the Kinect, and Disney is no exception. This game is all about exploring Disney as if you were actually there, with a few minigames thrown in for good measure. Having the game specifically themed after the park seems somewhat limiting; the game probably won't be able to hold the attention of non-casual gamers. Still, fans of Disney will enjoy this title.

Rabbids: Alive & Kicking
Amazon Price: $20.50 (as of 06/03/2012)![]()

The crazy action of this game makes it ideal in a party situation. On your television screen, it appears as if the rabbits (rabbids?) are literally popping out of the surfaces of your living room, and you have to deal with the problem. The unique art and style from game maker UBI Soft is a big plus. The game has already enjoyed success on the Wii, though you should be prepared for an intense game experience that can get a bit frustrating.
