My 2011 NFL Season Predictions

AFC
East
Patriots 13-3
Jets 11-5
Dolphins 5-11
Bills 3-13

New England Patriots 13-3

Final record 13-3 first in the AFC East. My bold 13-3 prediction was dead on . I was a heart beat away from my bold prediction of a Super Bowl title for the Pats in the 2011 season.

New York Jets 11-5

The Jets finished 8-8 at out of the playoffs. My 11-5 and AFC title game prediction was way off.

Miami Dolphins 5-11

Miami ended up 6-10 so I was only a game off my prediction.

Buffalo Bills 3-13

Buffalo finished 6-10 but for a while the Bills looked like a playoff team before falling a part. At the end of the season the Bills looked more like the 3-13 team I predicted.

Loading

Baltimore Ravens 12-4

Current record 11-4 first place in the AFC North. A win next week gives me the 12-4 that I predicted.

Pittsburgh Steelers 11-5

Current record 11-4 second place in the AFC North. A loss next week will lock up 11-5.

Cleveland Browns 6-10

Current record 4-11 last place in the AFC North. My prediction will fall short by 1-2 games.

Cincinnati Bengals 2-14

Current record 9-6 third place in the AFC North. This has got to be a shocker even to the "experts". The Bengals are a playoff contender with a stingy defense and consistent play from QB The Red Rifle Andy Dalton.

Indianapolis Colts 9-7

Current record 2-13 last place in the AFC South. In my defense, I made this prediction pre-Manning announcement. But I couldn't have predicted just how bad they were going to be without Peyton Manning. This team has thrown in the towel and have officially joined the "suck for Luck" race.

Houston Texans 8-8

Current record 10-5 first place in the AFC South. I was wrong about this team. They played good defense all year and have kept plugging along despite losing QB Matt Schaub to injury.

Tennessee Titans 7-9

Current record 8-7 second place in the AFC South. I will miss this one by 1-2 games.

Jacksonville Jaguars 6-10

Current record 4-11 third place in the AFC South. I will miss this one by 1-2 games.

San Diego Chargers 10-6

Current record 7-8 tied for second place in the AFC West. The Chargers have been a let down and it should finally cost Norv Turner his job.

Kansas City Chiefs 8-8

Current record 6-9 last place in the AFC West. I'll miss by 1-2 games.

Denver Broncos 5-11

Current record 8-7 tied for first place in the AFC West. I was dead wrong about Tebow as he has the Broncos winning and finally has the vote of confidence from John Elway.

Oakland Raiders 4-12

Current record 8-7 tied for first place in the AFC West. Oakland has really been a surprise to me. I like the gamble they took by trading for Carson Palmer. They still have a shot at the playoffs which makes me dead wrong about my season prediction.

Philadelphia Eagles 14-2

Current record 7-8 third place in the NFC East. I picked them for the Super Bowl. Ouch !

New York Giants 9-7

Current record 8-7 tied for first place in the NFC East. The Giants win next week and they get to 9-7.

Dallas Cowboys 8-8

Current record 8-7 tied for first place in the NFC East. Dallas has played like the 8-8 team I predicted and I feel real good about this prediction.

Washington Redskins 3-13

Current record 5-10 last place in the NFC East. . The Skins could make my prediction look bad if they can finish strong.

Green Bay Packers 11-5

Current record 13-1 first place in the NFC North. The Pack are playing like a well oiled green & gold machine outside of the hiccup in KC.

Chicago Bears 9-7

Current record 7-7 third place in the NFC North. Without Cutler the Bears will not reach 9-7.

Detroit Lions 6-10

Current record 10-5 second place in the NFC North. I did believe the Lions would play better this year but the kind of improvement I'm seeing I thought was coming next year.

Minnesota Vikings 5-11

Current record 3-12 last place in the NFC North. The Vikings could win next week and my prediction would only fall short by one.

Atlanta Falcons 10-6

Current record 9-5 second place in the NFC South. Falcons look like they could end up 10-6.

New Orleans Saints 9-7

Current record 11-3 first place in the NFC South. I was dead wrong about the Saints. They look like a Super Bowl contender.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7-9

Current record 4-11 last place in the NFC South. The Bucs folded to my surprise.

Carolina Panthers 1-15

Current record 6-9 third place in the NFC South. Well, Cam Newton is playing a lot better than I expected and they are certainly not playing like a 1-15 team. I was dead wrong about Cam and this team.

Arizona Cardinals 10-6

Current record 7-8 tied for second place in the NFC West. Cards have fought back but my prediction will still fall short by 2-3 games.

St. Louis Rams 10-6

Current record 2-13 last place in the NFC West. Dead wrong about this team. They had some key injuries too however.

Seattle Seahawks 8-8

Current record 7-8 tied for second place in the NFC West. The Seahawks could go 8-8 after all.

San Francisco 49ers 2-14

Current record 12-3 first place in the NFC West. Wow ! Jim Harbaugh has done a fantastic job resurrecting the Niners and in quick fashion. I'm shocked. A team that could make some noise in the post season.

good ending to the season , I look forward to any updates of who you think will win the current playoff games as the season progresses

My Rams......sigh what a sad sack of suck they are, maybe they can get Luck in the draft and punish another fine athlete with losing.

Your obvious bias against the Steelers is fogging your otherwise 'spot on' predictions. It's painful to say as a Pittsburgh native, that I actually liked Brady early in his career. Yeah, we struggled against him (as most teams did), but he has become a real buffoon in recent years. Thought the aquisition of Ocho Cinco was good (a little envious), and hope to hell the Patriots don't land Randy Moss. Nice lens.

I'm glad you recognized that I hate the Steelers lol. I have a friend who's a big Steelers fan and I have a lot fun with him during football season. Thanks for stopping by. Hope to see you back.

Brady is a buffoon? Last i checked he didnt have a motorcycle accident then have 2 sexual allegations against him in under a 3 year span, that would be the Steelers big dumb buffoon.... and this is coming from a Rams fan.
