In 2012 - Will Nibiru Also Known as Planet X be Approaching Earth?
Did you know that In the Mayan Calendar it is predicted that the world will end on December 21, 2012? When viewing these videos, please keep in mind that I am not promoting the end of the world although many Christians Today, including myself, believe that the end is not all that far off. I stumbled upon the subject of Nibiru a while back, and I find the views on this very interesting, to say the least. There have been many predictions and prophecies by the Mayans, Nostradamus, the Prophets of the Old Testament, the Disciples of Jesus Christ and the scientists of today, that there is a new planet in our solar system. This planet, named Nibiru, is also referred to the 12th Planet, the Red Planet or Planet X.
I personally am not sure what is going to happen, but I do know that anything is possible. However, I believe that there is still much work to do before the prophesies of the Bible come to pass. The Bible in Revelation 8:10-12 speaks of a star called Wormwood that will fall from the sky. Here is what it says:
Revelation 8:10-12 (New International Version)
10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water 11 the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.
12 The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.
Anyway, with all that in mind, I feel that now is a better time than any to discover God, our Creator and make amends with Him. Having a personal relationship with God helps me to not be afraid of dying because the Bible assures me that even though I am a sinner, I know that I will still spend eternity with God. Anyway... I don't know for sure what is true and what is false about Nibiru, Planex X or the Mayan Calendar, but it sure is interesting to view other people's thoughts on this subject. I do however know what the Bible says about the end of the world, and there are a lot of similarities with all the discussions going on about Nibiru and Doomsday. You will see that I have featured several YouTube Videos regarding Nibiru, Doomsday, The Mayan Calendar, Biblical Prophesy and whatever else I could drum up on the subject. Some people have valid points, some just live in a fantasy world. I will leave it up to you my friends to decide for yourself who and what to believe.

Here is what the bible in Mark 13:1-8 says about the End Times:
Signs of the End of the Age
1 As he was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, "Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!"
2 "Do you see all these great buildings?" replied Jesus. "Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down."
3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John and Andrew asked him privately, 4 "Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are all about to be fulfilled?"
5 Jesus said to them: "Watch out that no one deceives you. 6 Many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and will deceive many. 7 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 8 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.
And in Matthew 24:4-14 Jesus Said:
4 Jesus told them, "Don't let anyone mislead you. 5 For many will come in my name, saying, `I am the Messiah.' They will lead many astray. 6 And wars will break out near and far, but don't panic. Yes, these things must come, but the end won't follow immediately. 7 The nations and kingdoms will proclaim war against each other, and there will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. 8 But all this will be only the beginning of the horrors to come."
9 "Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because of your allegiance to me. 10 And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other. 11 And many false prophets will appear and will lead many people astray. 12 Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. 13 But those who endure to the end will be saved. 14 And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then, finally, the end will come."

You may be saying to yourself, "We just had a flood, a hurricane, an earthquake or another natural disaster - or maybe even a plague!" Does having a flood mean it's the end of the world? How about an earthquake? And, there is so much famine in third world countries these days, and even in our own neighborhoods. Does it mean that the world will end because of an earthquake, a war, a famine or a plague? There are many new strains of incurable diseases out there in the world today, does that mean it will soon be the end of the world? Honestly, I am not sure. There have been plagues, floods, earthquakes, viruses, violence, wars - you name it, for thousands of years; and you will continue to see these events take place, regardless of whether or not the world will end as we now know it. However, in the past century, these types of events have escalated to a point where one has to stop and wonder...
God is in control of nature, and of the whole universe if you must know. Do you think that you just happened into existence, or do you believe that God created you and everything around, above and below you? Because you were created by God, He loves you. In fact, He loves you so much that He sent His ONLY son to die on a cross so that you will have eternal life.
So next time an earthquake happens, you hear more instances of starving people, a flood covers portions of the earth, a plague breaks out, or a war begins, just remember that God is in control, and you should do your best to have a closer relationship with Him. Is Planet X (Nibiru) the Same Star Wormwood From the Bible?
Whether you like it or not, the Bible is not a book of predictions, but is actually the Spoken Word of God. Because God does not lie, the Bible is the book of truth, knowledge and understanding.
As far as the videos go that are featured here, I do know that some of them are a bit far-fetched, but I still found them to be interesting anyway. Many people will look at the videos on this site and laugh; but one day, when they really open their eyes and see what is going on in the world around them, just how much of what is being said today, is actually coming to pass. They will see that it isn't a coincidence that many great men of ancient times all predicted the same things and that if interpreted correctly, the Bible speaks these same truths. In the book of Revelation, there is a star called Wormwood, much like Nibiru, the outcome is pretty much the same. Here is the scripture about the star Wormwood that I am referring to:

- us chosen new creatures Rapture revelation 4:1
*As you can see in Revelation 6:15-17 many attempt to hide in caves (Dens) In the Rocks of the Mountains etc. From the Wrath of the Lamb (Jesus Christ) and perhaps many will attempt to hide from Wormwood etc. In Revelation 8:1-11

- Nibiru is still a subject that gets a lot of Naysayers and haters, however I feel it is very important and it has been talked about almost since the beginning of civilized civilization on this Earth. Will it come in 2012? I am not sure, but it is definitely something we should keep our eyes open about. You did a great job with this squidoo lens, and I am honored to be able to post to this and join in on the conversation. - Ok! Am totally lost here. Nothing ever makes sense in this world! How do we know that the End is near, cause isn't this a big jackpot out of people's fears? or something like that. Whatever happens , happens for a reason beyond our control. right!

- Actually, the Mayan Calendar does not predict "the end of the world". It simply ends in 2012. That's not to say 2012 isn't an important date, the Mayan calendar ends then because it is the end of an age, a solar cycle.
As above so below, as the wheel turns, the ages turn and the opportunity for spiritual advancement in this game of life is ripe. Jesus talked about having to be reborn to enter into the kingdom of heaven which is inside of us, here and Now. Now is the time to enter this kingdom found within our own consciousness. Humanity will be reborn and heaven comes to earth through us. It might be worth considering that the second coming of Christ happens in you. :) Thought provoking lens, thanks!

- I put nothing past anything, however, since time immemorial, prophets, wisemen, and crazies have been predicting the end of the world. I don't believe it will happen in my lifetime, my children's lifetime, or my grandchildren's lifetime. I believe there are serious ecolgical and planetary issues which man seems destined to multiply, but the end of the world? Nahhh. As far as planets and stars go, I will take more heed to the 5 stars I am giving you for this thought provoking lens.
