The basis of all types of marketing is to find a demand, a hungry market desperate for a solution.
People are ready to buy, only if you can provide them with what they want.

Once you are able to find what people want and provide it to them, you wont have to worry about making sales anymore.
People will beat your door to hand you their money.
That's the way it works. Just think in terms of affiliate vs traditional marketing. If a market or shop is unable to provide what people want,then its time to pull down the shutters and close shop.

Your task is to find a hungry market, one that is desperately looking for a solution. When you provide them a solution, people will pay you for the solution and even thank you for giving it to them.

Some of them will even pay you in advance,because they need more of the same. This becomes a kind of recurring income or residual income,whatever you call it.

You must take the greatest care to research your niche properly before you spend your money there. I have been in a few niches where according to the keywords it was supposed to be profitable, but when I got into it, I found that people weren't buying. My target market was not ready to spend money on what I had to offer .

Therefore, it is best if you find out exactly what they want before you start to spend your time and money on this niche.

You reduce your competition. Most of the people just target weight loss in general. These could include people who want to lose weight for fear of heart disease, those who want to lose their body fat and show off their six pack abs,etc...
The point is that there are many different types of people who want to lose weight for different reasons and need different products.

You really cant sell the same product to all of them. This is where niche marketing helps , target a group of people, understand them properly.Find out what they want and then give it to them.
