Niche Marketing Articles

Ranked #11,321 in Internet, #425,531 overall

Let's first define the term niche marketing articles. These are articles that are targeted at a specific special interest group. Our goal is to help you get better niche marketing articles.

There are 3 very important aspects of article marketing that you must pay attention to before you submit your niche marketing articles.

1. You are writing your articles to provide information to the reader. There is NO other reason to write an article.

With that said, you are promoting the content articles, you have written, bought then rewritten or paid someone to write for you for one or more of the following reasons:

Branding your name or your company name.
Lead generation for your business.
To generate traffic to your primary website from the resource box and search engines.

The ONLY reason a reader has to click your resource box is to find out more information on the topic related to your article. The article should have provided enough useful information to make the reader hungry for more information.

2. Niche article marketing gives you multiple promotional opportunities if you learn to take advantage of them.

If your article is written well AND you properly format your resource box, the same article will deliver visitors AND search engine traffic.

If possible, you want the key phrase that your article is targeting in the title, URL, first sentence or two if it makes sense and as the last word of the last sentence when possible. The key phrase should also be used within the article where appropriate for a keyword density that does not exceed 5% of the total word count of the article body.

The higher your article quality the more likely it is that a webmaster or ezine publisher will pick your article as guest content.

Know the results you want from your article before you start writing it. You will NOT be selling in the article or your resource box. Let your content build trust in you because people eventually buy from people they know and trust.

3. Keep the focus of your niche marketing article on benefits for your readers.

If you write an article that reads like a sales page, it will most like be refused by article directories like Articlesbin. An article directory that is willing to publish anything written like a sales letter is doing you a disservice. People visit search engines and article directories seeking useful information instead of a sales letter.

Submitting unique articles to several different article directories lets you get you message in front of a much wider audience.

DO NOT submit the same article to multiple directories if you are counting on the backlinks being helpful in the search engines. People will also search multiple sources for the same key phrase so having 5 different articles on the same key phrase in 5 different article directories gives you the best possible chance of more visitors to your website.

Use ONLY quality niche marketing articles that have been spell checked, checked for grammar and read allowed for readability. Do NOT rely exclusively on programs that check the spelling and grammar.

If you cannot, spell, write or do the proper proofreading, hire it done for you. The niche marketing articles you present to the public are often your first exposure to potential customers and you know how important it is to make a good first impression.

You know your abilities, goals and limitations so you decide whether you will write, buy or rewrite the niche marketing articles you use in article directories like Articlesbin.

I recommend you visit Articlesbin and read some of the articles to see if you can figure out what the different authors have done right or wrong. HINT: The most popular means readers liked something about the article.

What this space for tips on writing good niche marketing articles.

Getting Your Niche Marketing Article Read

The only reason you write your niche marketing article is to generate traffic and to get that traffic to perform a specific action.

The first step in this process is to gain an understanding of the niche you are writing in and the people that will read your article. You cannot solve their problems if you have no idea what they are.

Once you know your potential reader/customer, keyword research is the next step in the process. I try to target keywords that get at least 100 searches a day and have under 30,000 competing pages in Google.

Some marketers prefer to go after micro niches where there are only 5-10 searches a day with NO competing pages in Google.

If you check the most read articles in any article directory like Articlesbin, you'll see these articles target one specific keyword phrase and that phrase is in the article title, url and within the article body several times.

In future posts, I'll discuss ways to make this phrase more noticeable to search engines AND the reader of your niche marketing article.
