Ooo... I love GOOD Television!

Welcome to my lens of my all-time favorite episodes of some of my all-time favorite shows. A bit of a Top Ten list of sorts... except I only have seven that I can come up with right now.

These are shows that I love and episodes I could watch again and again. Maybe you've heard of some and maybe you haven't. Maybe you'll learn about a new addiction for yourself! Either way. I hope you enjoy my lens!

Isn't it all so FUN?

So, I have varied tastes. I'm a girly-girl and a geek all rolled into one. I love the new Doctor Who and A&E's Pride and Prejudice. I'm sure that everyone is a bit like that, though.

Now, I must warn you... there are SPOILERS listed here on this lens, so if you haven't seen the shows I'm talking about and you want to, don't read my descriptions. Just take my word for it that they're good. I don't give away the whole plot. But what I list about what I like may ruin things for you. So, be warned and be careful!

"Human Nature" and "Family of Blood"

Doctor Who, Season Three, Episodes 8 & 9

This is probably my favorite Doctor Who episode of all time (and it's not even out on DVD yet!). It's a two-parter, but I'm counting them as whole.

The Doctor, with no clue who he is and we have no idea why... but it doesn't seem to be a dream! It's just a fabulous episode, with some very interesting implications that come to a head in the last three episodes of season three.

Ooo! I can't wait for season four! But it sounds like we'll all have to wait a while for more...

"Branch Closing"

The Office, Season 3, Episode 7

It all starts from the first moment when Dwight receives a message over the fax from his "future self" (a.k.a. Jim)... ah! Good stuff. Jim stands up for Michael Scott? Michael and Dwight think they've single-handedly saved the Scranton Branch? Yes, this is one fine episode!

The Office - Season Three

Amazon Price: $36.99 (as of 10/11/2008)

"Through the Looking Glass"

Lost, Season 3, Episode 22

The 2007 season finale of Lost. What on earth can I say? It blew my mind! And the worst part is that I have to wait until February to know what on earth is going on. It's like having a baby... nine months to wait, but without the morning sickness or labor pains. Yet it still hurts!

Lost - The Complete Third Season

Amazon Price: $39.99 (as of 10/11/2008)

"The Parting of the Ways"

Doctor Who, Season 1, Episode 13

I'd have to say the thing about this episode that made me adore it was more than that tension relieving kiss... it had to be Rose looking into the heart of the Tardis, sweeping aside the Emperor of the Daleks and making everything right again. The worst part, however, was losing our new Doctor so soon. Sniff.

Doctor Who - The Complete First Series

Amazon Price: $74.99 (as of 10/11/2008)

"Lisa's Rival"

The Simpons, Season Six, Episode 105

My favorite part of this episode of The Simpsons has to be the end scene after Allison and Lisa decide to be friends and invite Ralph Wiggum to play their anagram game with them. Snicker... a good one. A gem. The Simpons make me laugh.

The Simpsons - The Complete Sixth Season

Amazon Price: $20.99 (as of 10/11/2008)

A&E's Original Classic

Pride & Prejudice, Episode 4

Elizabeth's assumptions about the character of Mr. Darcy begin to crumble and she pays a visit to the famous Pemberly, only to run into the man himself! Oh, the tension--Oh, the possibilities for a happy future! I don't care what anyone thought about Keira Knightley in the 2005 movie. There's nothing that tops the quality (and the necessary length) of the A&E original! At least... that's my opinion!

Pride and Prejudice - The Special Edition (A&E, 1996)

Amazon Price: $23.99 (as of 10/11/2008)

"Triangle"

X-Files, Season 6, Episode 3

My favorite X-Files episode of all time. Who could not love seeing Mulder finally kiss Scully? Well, I loved seeing it. Made me giddy. And then after he finds himself back in reality he tells her that he loves her... Oh, Scully! You should have listened! Sniff, sniff!

The X-Files - The Complete Sixth Season (Slim Set)

Amazon Price: $37.99 (as of 10/11/2008)

"Trash"

Firefly, Season 1, Episode 11

Little "Mrs. Reynolds" returns to Serenity... and is served up a lovely dish of revenge. Oh, I tell you--they had me with this episode! I was surprised and oh-so glad that Saffron got her due. What a good laugh!

Firefly - The Complete Series

Amazon Price: $24.99 (as of 10/11/2008)
