Night Fury Toys

The first movie I ever took my three year old daughter to see was How To Train Your Dragon. Strange choice I know, but I considered that she absolutely loved Shrek, Kung Fu Panda and Monsters Vs Aliens and didn't seem to suffer any negative consequences from watching these, so off we went.

She absolutely loved it, just like her other favorites. She is constantly nagging at me to get the DVD now. Funny thing is, I really enjoyed it too. I am not a kids movie enthusiast at the best of times, preferring a thought provoking, well made adult topic movie over a family movie any day. I enjoyed it so much that I got a bit peeved at my daughter when she told me she had to have a toilet break three quarters of the way through the movie. I'll have to catch up when we get the DVD!

Overall, just a really sweet movie, with a lovely story and meaning to it (as most kids movies should have). I think, most importantly, my daughter enjoyed it. And, who is her favorite character? Night Fury of course, even though she called him Night Fairy for the first few weeks!
