The Night Time Helper Potty Watch - Where Dry Days And Nights Are Born!

If you've searched for answers to bedwetting and incontinence, then you are in the right place at the right time.
You see, I am working to make a difference in the lives of our children and aging adults, our shell-shocked veterans, women whose bladders were damaged by pregnancy and childbirth and those with other conditions who suffer from incontinence. Did you know we have over seven million school age children and over four million adults and yes, there are over eight million shell-shocked veterans who suffer from Nocturnal Enuresis. This condition robs them of restful, healing sleep and also steals their dignity. My timepiece has been designed to help change the lives of so many suffers, naturally. This device does double-duty by reminding the wearer at set intervals. I am having my manufacturer, Hana Timepiece Company, look into having a least two emergency contact numbers included in the mechanism as we speak. The alarm function has two customized, licensed jingles. These multi-purpose devices offer so much more than other methods currently on the market.
The purpose of the Night Time Helper Potty Watch is to restore dignity, health and peace of mind to the wearer. Normalcy is important to everyone. The alarms currently on the market are bulky, inconvenient and obvious. "Wearable Alarms" in "cool colors that kids love" shout to the world, "I Wet The Bed!" My timepiece is a standard wristwatch that comes in attractive designs. My watch can help decrease or even eliminate bedwetting and incontinence that is not caused by medical issues naturally, without drugs or side effects. With The Night Time Helper Potty Watch, your secret is safe.
How The Potty Watch Was Conceived
But I Don't Know Nothin' 'Bout Birthin' No Squidoo...
Well it happened so fast that it gave me swimming of the head, lol. But seriously back in 2004 I was hurt on my job from a patient. Later we found out that the nerves in my back were badly damaged from the injury. This left me unable to work anymore. So I was declared to be disabled and not able to work in the workforce setting anymore. Boy.... you talk about someone who cried at the drop of a hat....that was me. I was so depressed about not being able to help my Children and my Elderly Seniors. You see I did Home care Nursing & Hospice so all my patients were like family to me. They where not just my patients they were my friends and family so when they lost one of their loved ones it also affected me. One day as I was alone sitting at the table in my home I began to feel truly sad and cry asking God why me why did this have to happen to me. I told God that you knew how much I love my patients why did you allow this to happen. Of course that was just the anger because God would never hurt me!!! As I began to sit quietly at the table I heard the Holy Spirit tell me that I was not alone, that my journey has yet to begin. I said all my life I have always opened my heart and home to children and others that were in need.
Then one day my daughter woke up in the middle of the night wet and she was crying in the bathroom alone. She was scared to wake me or my husband fearing that she would be in trouble. As I washed her up and hugged her, I told her to stop crying, it will be okay. I then made her breakfast and sent her on her way to school with a kiss.
Then Boom!!.... sitting at the table with a cup of coffee feeling sorry for myself - not even for her, but for myself, the Holy Spirit began to give me a vision of designing a watch that would help children and kids get over bedwetting. I was so excited that I thought I was the one who had urinated on myself, lol.
When God gave me the vision I began to write everything down - I mean he gave me the vision from A_Z without leaving out anything. When my kids and husband came home that day I began to tell them about my idea, thinking that they would say I was crazy. But no...to my surprise my husband begin singing a jingle he wrote for the watches and he begin to help assist with the designs. We formed our company, A.E.D. and obtained the copyrights and licenses. We both then focused on a making watch for all children & adults - even those who have lost a limb will be able to wear our timepieces.
And from there that's how "The Night Helper Potty Watch" was conceived. Now we are waiting for the arrival of our wonderful baby!! knowing that it will help to change the lives of so many.
Along with my family, I have received support from so many friends. Many of them are listed on my blog, Making It Come True.
We're halfway there. All we need now is a whole bunch of money, lol - about $10,000 for the ten prototypes I need to promote the product. We've had a good response from some people but its discouraging not to have the product in hand. I'm trusting God - I know he would not have brought me this far if He didn't mean to carry me all the way there. We have our faith and we can't wait for our first baby to be born!

Teens Back In Diapers?
as if that age isn't hard enough......
Are you aware that we have many, many teens that are back in diapers? Very surprising, isn't it? We usually think of younger children having this problem and it is more common in children under the age of nine, yet it can and does continue into the teenage years, especially if there is family history of enuresis.Take it from me, this is a very stressful situation for both the teen as well as their parents. There are many reasons this can occur. The teen could simply be stressed out due to the pressures of school and peers, but there may be a more serious underlying problem. Trauma, diabetes, constipation, medication that he/she might be taking and other medical conditions could be responsible.
The most important thing you should do is take the teen for a full checkup to rule out medical problems.
Please, whatever you do never let your fear transfer to the child. Try to be as supportive and understanding as possible. You don't want the situation to get worse. When a physical or medical problem is ruled out, bedwetting is often caused by failure to go to the bathroom often enough and/or not fully emptying the bladder. Try helping them to limit their intake of liquids and encourage them to use the bathroom before going out and before bed. There are many teens that rely on using diapers...yes, diapers - adult diapers, adult pull-ups, disposable diapers and more - during this time.
A bed wetting teen will try to hide the fact that he/she is wetting the bed. This is very easy to do by changing the bed early each morning while you may be wondering where all the laundry is coming from. You must be careful that the teen doesn't pick up that you are worried. Just as with young children, it is more traumatic for the child for a parent to make a big deal out of it. This is why again..I have focused on a wonderful bed wetting alarm that will help to eliminate bed wetting for all incontinence suffers.
On a more delicate note - be sure not to mistake your teens' doing so much laundry as bedwetting when there is a possibility that another normal situation is not going on. Nocturnal emissions, or "wet dreams," mainly occur in male adolescent children but can also affect females. This may be even more embarrassing for the child and even more difficult to talk about with a parent. Be assured that this is normal, and be sensitive to your child's feelings. Make an extra effort to keep lines of communication open so that your child can come to you for reassurance.
Well I hope you have enjoyed my lens and if you would like to leave me a comment please feel free. If you have any ideas or suggestions for raising the money we need for the prototypes, please post them. I will be happy to address any questions you have.
I've included some helpful links below for support and additional information. Until next time, God bless and remember that children and seniors are people too.

Fetching RSS feed... please stand byEliminating Bedwetting Odors
Well hello to all my readers I welcome you back!!Today our topic is eliminating bed wetting odors. As you know, when you are dealing with a child who suffers from Nocturnal Enuresis or an adult who is incontinent the smell of urine may linger on long after the incident has occurred. Eliminating bed wetting odor is not as easy as people may think. Simple enuresis is not a major or critical problem, but it is a difficult and frustrating one. Wet sheets, wet blankets, wet pajamas and their bedroom smelling of urine all add to the dismay felt by the child and parent.
Best solutions for removing stains and odors from the child's bedroom and clothing include:
1) Baking soda and water : equal parts
2) Water and vinegar: equal parts
3) Borax will help to kill the spores and help eliminate odor.
4) A product called "Urine Be Gone" is a natural biodegradable urine and stain odor remover
5) Soaking clothes in Clorox will help eliminate smell and kill germs in clothing. Always add a fabric softer-it helps to make the clothes smell fresh.
5) For serious, stubborn odors, you might consider professioal services to help clean and assist with removing urine smells.
But think about this.... all the work and worry about odors can be eliminated once the child or adult begins to use the Night Helper Potty Watch, giving them the peace of mind that a dry night can bring!
