Flywire is a technology that Nike uses to allow the Lunar Trainer to give ultra-lightweight support to your foot, as well as comfort. There is a specific sensor that is placed in the Nike Lunartrainer+ shoe, right under the sockliner of the left shoe. This sensor is able to provide a wide range of information such as the calories burned, distance, time elapsed and pace. This information is then sent wirelessly to your iPod (which will have a receiver) or Bike+ SportBand. The information is sent in real time, so you will be able to see and hear, while you are listening to your music.
