Nike Or Adidas?

Nike is a sports apparel manufacturer company that supplies items mostly based in the United States. It was first founded on 1964 as "Blue Ribbon Sports" at United States by Bill Bowerman and Philip Knight and later changed to "Nike".

Nike brand was first founded and was open as a retail store in the US. Till now, Nike is one of the most successful company around the world that have made more than 1 billion in profit.

The Nike Logo have a word quotes written beside it called "Just Do It", this is a quote to cheer and motivates every sport person to do their best and do not be afraid to try in any sports competition.

Nike have partnered lot of celebrities around the world in commercials. One of the world best football celebrities, Ronaldinho, have teamed up with Nike several times in football equipments commercial.

Ronaldinho performed his soccer skills in the Nike's Commercials. Sports equipment like soccer ball, soccer shoes and many more have been promoted in the commercials.

Adidas is a sports apparel manufacturer company that manucfature sports equipment mostly based in the German.

It is founded on 1924 by Adolf Dassler. He started producing Adidas Brand equipment in a small shop, when he expanded it to a factory with his brother. Until now, Adidas have became one of the most successful Company with its rival, Nike.

Adidas have splits into groups, which consists of the Reebok sportswear company, TaylorMade-adidas golf company, and Rockport. They sells product like sports wear, sports shoe, watches, bag, bottle and many more.

Adidas have organise a lot of sports activities besides from producing sports equipment. One of the successful sport activities that Adidas have hosted is the Ladies Run.

Adidas Ladies Run is hosted once every year since 2008, it was a great success. The participants get to run either 5km or 10km in this running events, where the champions will recieve a prize.

This activties also helps to promote their own equipments too, like running shoes and outwears. It is definitely a healthy events for the ladies!

Did you know that Adidas founder Adolf Dassler's Brother is actually his enemy in business? Rudolf Dassler, brother of Adolf Dassler, is the founder of Puma, a sportswear company that mostly manufactures sport footwears.

Puma is more popular in their football shoes, and have sponsored with a lot of good football players like Pele, Buffon and many more. Since Puma is one of the most popular sports apparel manufacture company in the world, this means that they are also enemy with the Adidas company! But of course the main rival of Adidas is Nike!

Adidas does not only have rivals in business, they also have partners in their business too. One of Adidas partners company is Reebok.

In 2005, Adidas wanted to buy a popular shoe manufacturer company, Reebok for 3.8 billion, but Reebok did not want to sell it to Adidas.

In 2006, the negotitation had ended and Adidas and Reebok decided to merge together instead to compete with the main rivalry Nike Company. This means Nike face another populat footwears company, Reebok.

What I feel that Nike Footwear will have impact since Reebok is a good footwear manufacturer company, but I do not feel that Nike will have much impact on other apparel they manufacture. But Reebok is a very good footwear company from what I feel.

Adidas logo have changed since it was founded.

Take a look at the Classic Adidas Logo and the New Adidas Logo, which one do you think is nicer?

In my opinion, I think the New Adidas Logo is nicer because I think it is much more simple and plain. The Classic Adidas Logo is more complicated I think, so I prefer the new logo, but that is just my own opinion.
