Nim's Island: Children's Fantasy Book Comes to Film
Nim's Island is the story of fantasy, adventure and a little bit of Swiss Family Robinson-style survival drama all rolled into one. Written by Wendy Orr, the film is soon to become a film starring Jodie Foster, Abagail Breslin and Gerard Butler.

- Abigail Breslin
- Abigail Breslin will play Nim. Nominated for an Oscar for "Little Miss Sunshine," Abigail will also be portraying Kit Kittredge from the American Girl series in the upcoming, "Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Mystery."
- Jodie Foster
- Jodie Foster will portray Alex, the author with which Nim corresponds.
- Gerard Butler
- Gerard Butler will play Jack, Nim's father. From the looks of Gerard's filmography, this will be the first family film for Gerard.

- Although advertised as a childrens film I really thought it had a lot of appeal for adults as well ... and not just because of Gerard Butler (OK so maybe a little bit).

- I was told that i looked like Nim even though i am 6 years older than her so i had to watch the movie and my friends were right i do look like Abigail Breslin when she plays Nim in the movie but the movie was awesome i liked it a lot for being a kids movie.

- I so want to see the film. No, not because of Gerard Butler. Ok, yes, because of Gerard Butler. But I like Jodie Foster and Abagail Breslin too. It looks like a fun movie.
