Nintendo DS Games for a 12 Year Old Girl

Nintendo DS games are an easy gift to buy for kids, for several reasons.  Nintendo DS games are reasonably priced gifts that can easily be packed in a suitcase for travel.  Kids really love the Nintendo DS games and will start using them immediately, and they have long-term usage because it takes time for a child to learn the game, and play all the way through. 

Most games also have side functions, and kids can spend hours playing them.  Nintendo DS game players are a great investment for parents to buy, because kids can play them anywhere.  My 12 year old daughter plays hers at my job, in the car, and at home whenever she needs to fill in some time.  Her Nintendo DS is just about the only thing that keeps her quiet, and sitting for more than a few seconds.

Nintendo DS players stay charged for quite some time.  Our player is about 3 years old and it plays for about 3 hours before it needs to be charged again.  My daughter loves the concept of interacting with her favorite characters from movies and TV shows, and really enjoys playing her Nintendo DS.

The purpose of this list is to separate out the games that girls like to play.  The overwhelming majority of Nintendo DS players are boys, and some of the games designed for girls are not really that interesting.  So I asked my expert 12 year old girl to compile a real list of Nintendo DS games for girls.
