The Nintendo Game Console is Great for Sports Games
The Nintendo Game Console is an excellent game console to play sports games. It is an exciting way to play sports, especially when the weather is so inclement. There are so many sport games to play. I will try and keep it down to ten sports games.
If you are interested in sports games, rent them first. I find that this is the best way to find out whether you will like the video game.
I rented a Baseball game, and found out that it was too arcade-like for me. I would have been ticked off if I had paid $49.00 for the sports game. If you are serious about playing video games, rent them first.
Gamefly has saved me a lot of money when it comes to renting games. Check out my Gamefly Rental Lens.

Wii Sports - This is the First Game We Received.
Wii Sports came with our Nintendo Wii Console. It comes with Boxing, Tennis, Bowling, Golf and Baseball. While the graphics are not the best, it is still a lot of fun. I play all the games, and spend a lot of time with it.I use the Boxing in my fitness regime I can work up a good sweat with this game. If you do not have it, get it. It is one of the best all around game packs.
Tiger Woods Golf
Tiger Woods Golf - the Ultimate Golf Game
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 for the wii is the ultimate golf simulation game. As you play a variety of courses against some of golfs greatest players, you think to yourself, I can play this game forever and not get tired. You progress through the game
One of the problems that I have when I drive, is pulling up at the end of the swing and hitting the ball with less power than I should. I am working through this. It is too bad that I cannot currently get out onto the links (1 1/2 feet of snow) to see how well my game has improved. I am sure that I will never tire of this game, as long as I play golf. Tiger Woods Golf is an excellent game for the golfer, it will help every aspect of your game, I am sure.
One of the reasons that this game is better for the golfer, than Super Swing Golf, is because when you draw your club back you do not have to stop it at the top of your swing. You bring back the club, swing the club and follow through just like you were truly golfing.

Combine Shaun White Snowboarding and the Wii Fit Balance Board and You Have A Dynamite Combination
This is a great Game for Everybody!
This is an exciting game that fully utilizes the Wii Fit balance board. It is an excellent game, and I have put up a lens at Shaun White Snowboarding Road Trip where I discuss this exciting game. If you like Nintendo Wii Sports games pay it a visit. , Shaun White Snowboarding Road Trip
One of My Favorite Sports, is Wii Ski.

Stretch and Loosen Up Before you Play Sports on the Nintendo Wii
You should treat sports on the Wii the same way that you play in real life
Aerobics with the Wii
Cardio Exercise is one of the Best Ways to get Your Heart Going
Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party Bundle - for the Nintendo Wii is one of the great games to burn off calories, especially if you play one of the higher levels, and it is fun! It has a calorie counter for burning off those calories, and it tells you when you have reached your limit, so you can quit or continue to play. During those tediously cold winter days, I would rather play this game to burn off some calories, then ride my bike through 6 inches of snow. This game is an excellent way to burn off some calories and get some exercise! If you have an obese child or two, this is the game for you. Oh, remember to stretch before you start to play, because chances are, you will continue to play after you have reached you calorie burn off rate.
Active Life: Outdoor Challenge
The Nintendo Wii is the only Game Console I like.
You can even use it for aerobics. While the original sports package is good, there are now lots of third party sports to help you improve your sports.
I am not a gamer, I very seldom played video games before, because they bored me. I preferred to play real tennis, or real golf or real fishing - but these games are great. I have to use real life experiences to work through the games, ie I have to grip and swing my remote like I would a real golf club. No other game allows this.
After trying PC golf games, Play Station, X-Box games, I couldn't see the logic in playing them - they weren't going to help me improve my game, so why bother. I didn't enjoy sitting on a couch twiddling my thumbs. Now, I get at least an hour of golfing in a every other day.
I was excited about getting the Nintendo Wii, I thought of all the sporting stuff I could do with it! But lo and behold, I could never get close to it for the first few months, the three kids were obsessed with it.
Ok, now after Christmas 2007 I had to put down a claim on the Wii at 10:00 every night. It seems to be working out all right. I do use the Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party Bundle almost everyday, while the kids are at school to burn off some calories.
It all started so innocently one afternoon, as I noticed that there was nobody on the Wii. I got my step-son to set up the Super Swing Golf game for me, and he walked me through the game. I started to play and I was hooked. Finally a golf S game where I could actually stand like I was golfing! I could actually check my stance, bring the controller back as if I was swinging a club, it was great! While I can hold the controller as if I was holding a real golf club, I am sure that someone with bigger hands, would find the controller next to impossible to hold like a golf club.
The Wii Sports package, while the graphics are wanting, the tennis game is adequate for a real tennis game. I am sure that a 3rd party Video game company will more then improve on the graphics, but for now it is adequate for simulating a tennis match. Visit my Nintendo Wii Estore for some great ideas.
The Wii Sports package baseball is not too bad, it is still better than sitting on your butt and moving the little knobby until you are ready to swing and move the little knobby to get the right power behind the ball. You can actually stand if you are going to swing, move your feet and legs as if you are going to swing and get an idea what the ball will be doing if and when you hit the ball.
Tennis is one of my favorite sports, and this game is good for this, it will show me what will happen if I swing the racket to early or too late. It is as good or better than hitting the ball against the wall.

Super Swing Golf
This isn't a bad Golf Game
Super Swing Golf is not that bad of a golf simulation game. You have to maintain a regular golf stance in this game. One of the problems that I have when driving a real golf ball is pulling up at the end of my swing and watching a ball go 150 or so yards as I slice it. This game helps me to watch each part of swing, - my stance and my shoulders, and I can proceed to pull the golf club back to start my swing. This is the only complaint I have about the game. You have to stop at the top of your swing to make sure that you have enough power to swing the golf club. There is no fluid swing - but it does allow you to make sure that when you have pulled the golf club back that your elbow are all right, that your shoulders are in the correct position, that your stance and knees are still ok, and then you can come down for the swing. This game is a fun golf game, it does not have the same precision that Tiger Woods Golf does. It has more interesting golf courses, and you can do more interesting things with the golf ball. You constantly have to think of the results of each swing, which can really be a mind bender. While Tiger Woods game is laden with traditional golf courses requiring a traditional golfers mind set, Super Swing Golf requires you use a different approach. This golf game, while you can have fun with it, it does have some draw backs, if you are looking to improve your game - the biggest one is the stopping at the top of your swing - the swing should be fluid.
