Nippon: The Country of the Rising Sun
Japan is a wonderful place to visit. My nationality is Japanese but I was born and raised in the USA. I learned Japanese but just like anything else if you don't use it you forget it pretty quick. People are very friendly and willing to help you. Alot of places in Japan are English friendly except in rural farming areas. There are many great places to visit. My favorite places were Kyoto, Misawa, Tenri and of course Toyama where my parents were born.

- I'm new to Squidoo and so I'm checking things out and found your page on Japan, one of my favorite places. I studied abroad there a couple times, most recently last Spring. I'm "attempting" to put together a lens on it. Anyway, I just wanted to compliment on your lens .
