Disgraceful! Makes me hot also! No more Nissan cars or trucks for me. A humble person would have admitted " we missed registering the domain name." How much will it now cost to purchase it? Let's say two million dollars. First, is the domain worth that much to Nissan Motors? Probably. Or they could have registered NISSANUSA.COM (which they did)and moved on and let Mr. Nissan alone. Or, they could have offered him a monthly dollar amount to put a link on his front page and paid him say, $5000.00 a month. We call this professionalism. Whoever the "idiot" at corporate NISSAN Motors who decided and tried to ram it down Mr. Nissan's throat has antagonized millions of people, car or truck buying people. I have owned three cars and two trucks by Nissan but no more, it ends here. NISSAN motors, you should have offered Mr. Nissan Five Million Dollars for the domain name. You would have come out way, way ahead. BG Posted September 11, 2008 |
