Nissan Skyline R34 GTR

The Skyline R34 GTR is almost identical to the R32 and R33 GTR. It also comes with the same motor and transmission, the RB26DETT and the ATTESA E-TS system.

What distinguishes it also came with a 5.8" LCD screen, which is just so cool. It shows all the important readings such oil pressure, boost etc. which is a huge plus for tuners, not having to add all of those in digital readings themselves for accuracy. The R34 is also slightly shorter than the R33 GTR for better handling response.

There were a number of upgraded race car inspired versions produced in limited productions, including the V-Spec, M-Spec, N1, V-Spec II and the V-spec II Nür, all which had mostly aerodynamic, weight, and suspension adjustments and the V-spec II Nür had more power upgrades. The R34 GTR was under rated in horsepower, released at 279hp when it actually had 330. This was the last of the older style Skylines which are famous in the tuning circles. Then there was finally the eagerly anticipated release of the Nissan GT-R R35 in 2009
