There are currently hundreds of social bookmarking sites and some of them have several thousand of visitors surfing them everyday. If you sign up to enough of those sites and use plenty of tags for each link it can do wonders for your sites traffic and link popularity.

Most social bookmark websites have a high pagerank so they will get your site spidered and possibly ranked higher.

It is recommend that you use these bookmarking sites in moderation and not over-post your links on each site. This will be viewed as spamming and likely they would cancel your account.

Stumble your site. Ask 4 or 5 more people to stumble your site. See the difference.

Once enough people have stumbled your website, it will be rotate frequently for SU viewers to view and you can get several hundred (targeted) new visitors to your website.

Giving away useful information in the form of an ebook is an excellent way to do viral marketing for your website. This method harnesses the power of your visitors to get even more traffic to your website.

Imagine you write a 10 page report on a topic that compliments the information on your website. The reports also contain links and advertisements that lead back to your website. Your visitors are looking for this specific information and are encouraged by you to download the report for free.

They read the report and store it on their computer. Whenever they read that report they will see the advertisement to your website and may click back to get even more information.
