Myth/Fact
Fact: There are no medical socities that recommend routine infant circumcision.
Myth: Circumcision prevents UTIs.
Fact: Girls are more vulnerable than boys, but it isn't advocated to cut their genitals for what can be treated with antibiotics.
Myth: The foreskin is just a flap of skin.
Fact: The foreskin is NECESSARY for normal sexual function. Yes, a circumcised man is able to have sex and reproduce, but not in the way that nature intended.
Myth: Civilized men are circumcised.
Fact: European countries do not circumcise their males. In fact 80% of the world's male population is intact. Also, consider this: the only countries that circumcise are America, prominently Muslim countries, promiinently Jewish countries, and African tribal communities.
