I'm tired of all the hype, promises and lies about Network Marketing so I'm going the best way, with honesty.
Okay hang on.
If you base your business on values, honesty, caring, respect and have a true desire to help others live their Vision by offering the real information on Network Marketing, let's talk, maybe we can exchange ideas.
The truth
* It's not a business anyone can do. With at least 85% of people dropping out in the first year how can anyone say it's something anyone can do.
*Not everyone will make lots of money, most will not make any money. Most reps not making money stay on to buy the products they love at discounts. What's wrong with that? Nothing. If so many people stay on with a company just to buy products that's a great product.
*The products do not sell themselves, I've heard enough no's to know this is 100% true. If you've ever been told no then the product doesn't sale itself.
*It's not a way to make fast money. Three to five years is about how long it will take to make $2000 to $5000 a month and then only if you work at it. It's not a guaranteed money opportunity, just an opportunity like any other business. If you don't get customers, you don't get paid.
*Systems, duplication, conference calls, training books and materials might make you feel like an expert in Network Marketing. These are great tools but to earn money it's simple, getting customers for your products and finding these customers who want to sell the product is how you make money.
*All you need to do is make a list of all your friends and family. Contact them and your business will take off. Wrong! I never recommend using friends and relatives to launch your business. I will notify them I've started this business and by that I simply say, "I've found this healthy pet food with the kind of ingredients I know are safe. I was so pleased with the results I had with it I decided to sell it to other people who want to feed a healthy diet without doing the home prepared pet food. Do you know anyone who might like to know about something like this? No pressure on them or me. I'm asking if they know anyone, not pressuring them to buy anything.
I keep it real - No Promises - No Hype
I keep it so real and simple my young son even understands everything I say. No sales pitch, no in your face raving, just words an eight year old child understands.
My Belief in Network Marketing
So now when I say I believe or have belief in something I always think of it as "being in love" with something. Belief for me is be-love.
Kim Klaver - Network Marketing Central
After sorting through all the "hype" sites, I settled in to what I consider the most informative, down-to-earth site out there! Here's Kim's Blog.
If you are ready to start building your business the New School way check out Kim's training materials.

*I market a product for parents who have kids that are picky eaters and they worry they aren't eating enough fruits and veggies, like I used to worry about my own kids.
Do you know anyone who might like to know about a product like that?
See how this works?
*First you let the person know you are selling something, no surprises.
*Second you say what the product is for, not the product name or company. We distributors are the only ones who really care about the company and all the information on our products, at first anyway.
*Third you say "like I used to", this tells the person you were concerned about your kids not eating right and got results.
*Forth you ask if they know anyone, this takes the pressure off them since you aren't asking if they want the product. You are looking for people who want what you are marketing. If they say no, big deal, they didn't know anyone and it wasn't a fit for them. Now you can go on and listen to objectives but do you want to be a therapist or find someone wanting a product like yours? I'll say no first and move on and find a willing customer.
Here's another one. I market a product for people who have achy knees when they go up stairs, like I used to. I was always active with sports like tennis until about 6 years ago when I injured my knee. I lived with the aches but going up stairs got so painful I thought I would have to have surgery. I did try several over the counter things with minor results. Then a month after using this new cream I noticed my knee didn't ache anymore and I could go up stairs like I did before the injury. It's been 5 years now and I'm still pain free.
Do you know anyone who might like to know about a product like that?
Are you starting to hear how much better these real stories sound? Could you write a personal story and say it easier than a company script? I did.
Does bad press about another Network Marketing company make yours look better?
Bad Press makes us all suffer setbacks but we can change that.
"It's easy, anyone can do it" ~
Was it easy for you at first?
"The products are so good they sell themselves" ~ Have you sold your product to 100% of your prospects?
"You will make lots of money quickly" ~ Did you?
These are all lies.
Here's a copy of an ad someone sent in on Kim's blog.
Seeking independent-minded sales professional. Must be willing to accept rejection even when you have done everything right. Must not get discouraged when your start-up costs exceed your initial budget, and no income is coming in. Must have a financial safety net. Must have tenacity. Must be willing to spend time learning how to sell. Must be willing to work long hours, and make sacrifices knowing in two to three years or more you will be enormously successful. Must recognize dream-stealers for who they are. Must demonstrate integrity as a professional sales person.
So would you ever use this for your recruiting?
Why not? It's all true. Would it help to paint a pretty picture, get people enrolled, then have them quit in a few weeks or months? What do you get out of them joining you if they quit just as fast? How does it help the Network Marketing image when people fail or quit? Do you think the dropouts go away saying they failed or that Network doesn't work and they are sorry they got suckered into it? It's time to let people know what the stats really are. It hurts the industry every time someone drops out.
Can you tell the truth and help the industry in doing so? I can and do.
My daily mission really is from the heart
Because of my network marketing business I can donate more time and money to my local humane society. I'm able to stop some of the suffering of animals and their people. I'm making animal and people bonds deeper through teaching owners different ways to be responsible to their beloved pets. Best of all I've met countless people who love their pets and want to help them live a fulfilling life. The relationships are what make Network Marketing so special for me.
