The new color of 5800
5800 lovers will get an option on a new color beside red and blue. When Nokia announced the 5800, they promised this series will be available in three colors, which are red, blue and black. However, there are only red and blue in the market. Now, the black 5800 is just available in the market.The specification of the phone is remained the same. Since the black 5800 is the latest production, we can expect that the smartphone will use an operating system with latest firmware.

E75
The new mini communicator from Nokia
Nokia designed E75 with smaller size compare to other communicator series. It has a dimension 111,8 x 50 x 14,4 mm, however, the shape looks thicker and heavy. The body is made from metal with sliding design, not like bending shape like previous series. Of course, like the regular communicator, Nokia needs to keep the QWERTY, the buttons for numbers and 2.4 inch display on the front side.Unfortunately, if you try the button, the previous series are much better. The buttons are too thin and double touched due to small space. This is not the first time mini communicator. The same concept was made in 9210.
As the new product, E75 offers an advance function on email facility. Easiness and user's friendly are the keys. To manage the email, we just need to go to the menu to make a new account and fill up the name and password. It will shows options whether it will be received as push or pull email. If you use pull, activation process is done. If you choose push mail, there will an option to automatic setting.
We can also use attachment including opening, dowloading, saving it into the phone or even editing it. There is also a support for Office 2007 and Zip facility so all files can be compressed before sending.
Other features on this phone are, 3.2 camera, FM radio, GPS and Nokia's map, and multimedia player. Don't worry for connectivity, we can use HSDPA and Wi-Fi.
E75 is using Symbian S60 serie 3 and 3 color options like Silver Black, Red and Copper Yellow. You can survey this phone in store now.

The N96
The concept of N96 is similar to N81. The phone has black body with dual slider and navy key, while the shortcuts are placed under the display. The difference with N81, N96 has more space between shortcuts and buttons, makes easier for people who have bigger thumb.
The concept of dual slider is the same as used on N95, the keypad shows up when we push the slider up. If we push the slider down, we can see the multimedia buttons. Whenever you are using the multimedia buttons, you need to turn around the phone to landscape position. When you are playing the N-Gage game, the multimedia buttons will automatically change to game buttons.
The new part on N96 is the backside of the phone. If you check the camera, the frame can be pulled out which can be used as the foot. This can be used if you want to keep it standing when you watch a video from the phone. Since this accessory is still new and the first time used in Nokia's phone, the foot is not perfect yet. The phone is standing about 135 degrees, which is not convenient for watching in sitting position.
When you buy this phone, you can get a complete package inside the phone. There are computer, Television, Video player, radio FM, Music player, Camera, Telephone, Game console, and GPS. The features are the same like N95, with additional feature of TV digital with DVB-H.
The memory is bigger then N95, which is only 4GB and then the new series with 8GB. In N96, Nokia is very generous. They give us 16GB for the internal memory and we can add more memory with card up to 8 GB.
If we compare the performance with N95, we may not find any different on the speed. Even though, if we are checking thoroughly, the CPU used in N96 is lower compare to N95. N95 is using 332 MHz while N96 is using 264 MHz.
If we are talking about the TV feature, it is good. You can proof it by yourself. You can play DVD with the TV output, even though, the external speaker is not the best in the market. The music player is a top player, especially if we use the headset. You don't need to worry about the camera. 5mp with Carl Zeiss & Tessar optic can be a guarantee for the result.

E71 in Red
If you like E71 and has a plan to buy one, you may want to wait for awhile. Nokia is planning to release a new E71 in red color. All specification will be the same as black, just changing the color.However, this new color will only available in Europe, at least for now. Nokia has not confirmed the price yet, buy usually, it will be more then the black. Hopefully, Nokia will expand it to other regions soon.
Nokia 5630
To continue the success if XpressMusic, Nokia announced another new series called 5630. This phone has a thickness about 12 mm and 83 grams in weight. So surely it is light enough in your hand.The new 5630 is like the upgrade of 5320. It has a better features compare to 5320. It has 3 mp camera, standby active homescreen, supporting N-Gage game and microSD up to 4 GB.
5630 is running on Symbian S60. Of course, as a music phone, we can use 3.5mm jack and dedicated music buttons on the phone. Beside of that, there is a feature called "Say and Play" that can be used to play the next song by mentioning the artist, singer or the title of the song. Other features are Wi-Fi, HSDPA and HSUPA, quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth, USB and facility to download from Nokia Music Store. Nokia N78
Nokia is continuing the development of their N series. This time, they launch a new N78. This phone will have features which never been found in any other series. N78 is a combination of features like the combination of camera with GPS. The picture taken by N78 can be added with data or information about the location where the picture was taken. This system is called Location Tagging.The GPS installed inside N78 has the capability to use a satellite or local operator for the connection. Nokia calls it as Assisted GPS. We cannot find this feature in any previous N series. Beside the GPS, N78 is also having Wi-fi facility.
Other features are remaining the same like previous, some things like HSDPA, Carl Zeiss optic, MicroSD and internal memory up to 70Mb
Introducing the new Supernova
Nokia is introducing the special series for women called Supernova. The new born Supernova are 7610, 7510 and 7310 Supernova.
7310 Supernova is having a candy bar design and based on Symbian S40. It's having 2 MP camera, 16 millions color of screen, FM radio, stereo Bluetooth and only 83 grams in weight.
7610 Supernova is a sliding phone, which is also using Symbian S40 like 7310. However, the camera can be up to 3.2 MP, has an external memory slot and TV slot.

N78 is the next generation after N73
Nokia launched N78 to continue the success of N73. This model is supported by HSDPA, GPS and WiFi with 3.5 G capability and development feature of GPS. This phone can also be used as a compass, however, we are not sure yet whether it's working in a jungle or small island. The camera is quite good for picture taking up to 3.2 mp and supported by Carl Zeiss lens, auto focus and flash LED. This combination surely can make a better and quality picture.N78 is supported by multimedia player which is compatible for MPEG-4, MP3, WMA and AAC. The video can capture up to 15 frames per second. FM radio with stereo speakers which can be connected to car stereo is another entertainment feature in N78.

While Sony Ericsson has the famous series of Walkman with their latest model W910i. What kind of features and quality promised by these two suppliers?The combination of cellular and music player has changed the way human listen to the music. Now, almost all suppliers feel their phones are not complete without music feature on their products. From many suppliers, Nokia and Sony Ericsson are very serious creating music phone with advance features and sound quality.
Nokia for example, the supplier from Finland never feel satisfied with the music phone. Not long after the series of 5200, 5300 and 5310, they are now having a new 5610 in the market. The phone has a tag line XpressMusic and it is definitely deserve the name as music phone. While Sony Ericsson is launching their new W910i for high class Walkman phone series. This new model look nice with sliding design. All body coated with alloy metal.
Nokia 5610 shows clearly what they are by showing NaviSlide, which is special buttons for music player. The users can push the button to play and stopping the song in play list. Sony Ericsson claimed their product of Walkman as the most advance music phone that has changed the way people listen and play music. The new W910i has Shake Control for users to change or control the song without touching the menu buttons. One shake to one direction is enough to change the song.
Nokia 5610 is not depending on the music feature only, but also having a chip inside the phone to process the sound to maximize the quality of the sound. The advance features installed inside the Nokia 5610 and Sony Ericsson W910i are just a little picture on how serious these two suppliers producing music phones. Nokia introducing Wi-Fi phone
It looks like Nokia wants to repeat the success of Nokia 6300 that launched last year. Nokia is launched 6300i that has similar specification like the original 6300, of course with additional features of Wi-Fi and VoIP.
Nokia 6300i has 2" display about 240 x 320 pixels and 2 mp camera with video recorder capability. Too bad, it's not having an access to 3G network. 6300I will have FM radio, multimedia player, web browser, email client and memory card capability up to 4 GB. This gadget will also give its user Nokia Maps, even though, this gadget is not having a GPS feature.

Nokia launched 4 new phones
Nokia just introduced four new GSM phones for mid to low class users. They call it as Nokia 7070 Prism, Nokia 1680 classic, Nokia 2680 and Nokia 5000.Nokia 7070 Prism is a new generation for Prism model. This time, the Prism has a clamshell model. This Prism really wants to sell its design instead of features. The phone is implemented with a basic features without camera. The features are including color display, MP3 supports, GRPS, and internal memory.
Nokia 5000 is another new model from Nokia has a candybar shape and slim body. The system is based on Symbian S40 with features like 1.3 MP camera, Bluetooth, GPRS, music player, and Radio.
For Nokia 1680 classic with a candybar shape is having an entry level features like VGA camera, color display, GPRS, and MP3 or polyponic ring tones.
The last one is sliding phone of 2680. It's also having a VGA camera, color display, radio and additional feature of Bluetooth installed.
All of the phones are planned to be available in 3rd quarter of this year.

Wimax Tablet Nokia N810
Available now in US Market
Nokia is the first cellular supplier who develops a cell phone with high speed connection. Covered by Reuters, Nokia successfully launched a mobile internet tablet N810 with a capability of Wimax technology and 4.13 inch touch screen. Also the phone still have Wi-fi and can be used along the Wimax.This phone will be bundled by Sprint Nextel. This provider, Sprint Nextel, is also trying to get the license of Wimax so they can be used in USA. In this Wimax business, Sprint will cooperate with Clearwire, Comcast, Intel and Google.

Nokia with Diamonds designed by Peter Aloisson
Once again, Nokia has made a masterpiece specifically designed by top class jewelry designer, Peter Aloisson. How good is it? Well, judge it for yourself. A Nokia Communicator covered by 18 carats white gold and 400 pcs diamonds spread all over the phone.After his success with the creation of iphone with diamonds, Aloisson is also planning to make a communicator E90 with the same material, pure diamonds. The price of this phone is about Eur 52,000 or USD 82,000.

The diamonds are having a weight of 9.86 carats with quality of WSI-IF (LC). You can see the diamonds around the keypad and the screen, also the navigation buttons. So if you don't have enough money to pay your phone bill, you just need to go to jewelry store and sell one of the diamond :)
Nokia Earns 40% of World Market Share
Nokia has maintained their position as market leader in cellular market and sold more then 133,000 units or earn 40% of the world market share. Samsung must happy with second position with 13.4% market share while Motorola is guarding on third with 11.9% of share.
The following is the performance of cellular companies in fourth quarter 2007:
Nokia - 40,40%
Samsung - 13,40%
Motorola - 11,90%
Sony Ericsson - 9,00%
LG - 7,10%
Others - 18,20%

Google will available soon in Nokia phones
Google will have a better position in cellular industry soon after the biggest cellular phones in the world has a plan to install Google's search engine on Nokia's phones.Nokia has a similar partnership with Yahoo and Microsoft, but Nokia wants to give more options for their users. More options can be an important part of strategic customer service from Nokia.
Nokia informed that Google Search Engine will be firstly installed on upper class phones like N96, N78, 6210 Navigator, and Nokia 6220. Then, it will be installed to lower class phones.
Nokia will develop their own application to access Google's search engine. At this time, this kind of application has been used in 40 models of Nokia's phones.

Another New N78 from Nokia with candy bar design and having features similar to N96 as previously discussed.
The features are inlcluding 3.5G HSDPA, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MP3 Player, FM Radio, etc. Except for the camera, N78 is only 3,2MP.
The interesting part from this phone, it has a technology of broadcast FM like the one has on Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1. It means N78 can make a broadcast on specific FM Frequency and can be received like regular FM program by people around us or can be received from radio in our car.
