Nokia finally launched new XpressMusic phones 5320 and 5220. Both of the phones are having similar look and features. The difference is only Symbian S60 for 5320 and 5220 is using Symbian S40. 5320 is a smartphone with 3G capability along with its feature as music phone. It looks like Nokia wants to repeat the success of Nokia 6300 that launched last year. Nokia is launched 6300i that has similar specification like the original 6300, of course with additional features of Wi-Fi and VoIP.
Nokia 6300i has 2" display about 240 x 320 pixels and 2 mp camera with video recorder capability. Too bad, it's not having an access to 3G network. 6300I will have FM radio, multimedia player, web browser, email client and memory card capability up to 4 GB. This gadget will also give its user Nokia Maps, even though, this gadget is not having a GPS feature.

Nokia launched 4 new phones
Nokia just introduced four new GSM phones for mid to low class users. They call it as Nokia 7070 Prism, Nokia 1680 classic, Nokia 2680 and Nokia 5000.Nokia 7070 Prism is a new generation for Prism model. This time, the Prism has a clamshell model. This Prism really wants to sell its design instead of features. The phone is implemented with a basic features without camera. The features are including color display, MP3 supports, GRPS, and internal memory.
Nokia 5000 is another new model from Nokia has a candybar shape and slim body. The system is based on Symbian S40 with features like 1.3 MP camera, Bluetooth, GPRS, music player, and Radio.
For Nokia 1680 classic with a candybar shape is having an entry level features like VGA camera, color display, GPRS, and MP3 or polyponic ring tones.
The last one is sliding phone of 2680. It's also having a VGA camera, color display, radio and additional feature of Bluetooth installed.
All of the phones are planned to be available in 3rd quarter of this year.

Nokia is the first cellular supplier who develops a cell phone with high speed connection. Covered by Reuters, Nokia successfully launched a mobile internet tablet N810 with a capability of Wimax technology and 4.13 inch touch screen. Also the phone still have Wi-fi and can be used along the Wimax.This phone will be bundled by Sprint Nextel. This provider, Sprint Nextel, is also trying to get the license of Wimax so they can be used in USA. In this Wimax business, Sprint will cooperate with Clearwire, Comcast, Intel and Google.

Nokia has maintained their position as market leader in cellular market and sold more then 133,000 units or earn 40% of the world market share. Samsung must happy with second position with 13.4% market share while Motorola is guarding on third with 11.9% of share.

Google will have a better position in cellular industry soon after the biggest cellular phones in the world has a plan to install Google's search engine on Nokia's phones.Nokia has a similar partnership with Yahoo and Microsoft, but Nokia wants to give more options for their users. More options can be an important part of strategic customer service from Nokia.
Nokia informed that Google Search Engine will be firstly installed on upper class phones like N96, N78, 6210 Navigator, and Nokia 6220. Then, it will be installed to lower class phones.
Nokia will develop their own application to access Google's search engine. At this time, this kind of application has been used in 40 models of Nokia's phones.

Those big profits came from a high sales volume for low end phones which was sold in developing countries. From those numbers, Nokia claimed a market share by 40 percents in global market in 4th quarter 2007.
According to a research institute, the market share of Nokia was higher then a total market share of Motorola, Samsung and Sony Ericsson combined together which was only about 35% of market share.

Nokia announced their success in testing 4G. The test was made in Berlin with 2.6 Gz spectrum and can reach a maximum speed up to 173 Mbps. In order to support the test, Nokia built a prototype base station on top of Heinrich Hertz Institute located in center of Berlin.

N Series lovers.. Get ready for the launch of new type multimedia phone from Nokia. It has not officially announced by Nokia, but thank to the press, they always find the way to get the latest news.As information I found at www.symbian-freak.com, N82 is the first N series which having a 5 mp camera and xenon flash included. Taking picture is becoming more and more handy these days.
N82 designed with complete extra features and almost everything built into the gadget such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and of course all functions and capability that you can find in symbian s60.
For gamers, this gadget is having N-Gage gaming engine for all the latest N-Gage games. If you are having difficulties in playing game in small gadget in previous series, this phone probably has an answer for you. Nokia built in the capability to adjust position of the screen automatically neither portrait or landscape position.
If you are a user of N81 or N95 and found the multimedia button is coming handy for you, you'll gonna love this one. The button is continued and built nicely into this phone with similar or probably the same menu as those two phones.
N82 will have 128 MB RAM to assure a fast performance to run so many features inside the phone. As other multimedia phones, memory is having an important part or I can say the most important issue for people to buy such gadget. Nokia acknowledge this issue and implementing a generous 132 MB internal memory for operational functions. The new E-series
Nokia E51 is designed as a candybar and works in 3G networks. It is equipped with a 2MP camera with digital zoom, display up to 16 million colours, Bluetooth 2.0 module with support for stereo sound. As for connectivity, the E51 works with HSDPA, WLAN and VoIP services.E series was originally designed for business people by giving one touch access for its important features. N81
The new member of N series..
The new model N81 will have additional button specially made for music button and game. This phone comes with MicroSD card slot which can be upgraded up to 4GB.Other features follow the Nokia's standard like OS Symbian version 9.2, 2MP camera (with 20x digital zoom), radio and of course the push to talk function. To further enriched the phone, 3G, Bluetooth Stereo Audio, WiFi and 3D multimedia menu will be implemented inside N81.
It has 2.4" display with the resolution of 240 x 320 pixels shows up to 16 million colors. It has a body size of 102 x 50 x 17,9 mm with 140 grams of weight. Good enough to fit your pocket. The rumor said the phone will be released about EUR 360.
Nokia will also launch another version called N81 8GB with the same features as above. This version provides 8GB internal memory without memory card slot. The launching price is about EUR 430.
