A nonprofit organization (abbreviated as NPO, also known as a not-for-profit organization) is an organization that does not distribute its surplus funds to owners or shareholders, but instead uses them to help pursue its goals. Examples of NPOs include charities (i.e., charitable organizations), trade unions, trade associations and public arts organizations. Most governments and government agencies meet this definition, but in most countries they are considered a separate type of organization and not counted as NPOs. In most countries, NPOs are exempt from income and property taxation.

    Nice lens! You both raise funds for your NPOs at the same time, promote other NPOs! An example that the internet is actually a good place to raise funds. In fact, almost everything that we have in our organization is from the internet - from funding up to accounting. Nonprofit organizations should lend more time on research and nonprofit fundraising. Software that helps you document your projects and financial records should help too.

    I don't know what about acumen fund. I know some organization are active as non-profit and charity according to paper but the reality is they have no activities for charity or very rare.
