If you've purchased a Nook Simple Touch Reader, then I highly recommend buying a case. If you don't use a carrying case or cover, you risk damaging it. Trust me, I know from experience... I had my keys in my bag with my smartphone, and it created a big scratch on the screen. :(

This one is made specifically for the Barnes & Noble Nook Simple Touch Reader. It has a magnetic flap closure, an adjustable viewing stand, and soft material to prevent scratches. It's the only one I've found that has an adjustable stand, which could be really helpful! Obviously you're not always going to want it to be at the same angle.

- are there any cases that store the light in case?
I like to read in bed and don't want to keep having to look for the light.

- I don't have an awful lot of luck with technology - while I personally take great care of all my gadgets and thinggymabobs, somehow in one foul swoop I manage to lose 2 cell phones in a week and a laptop... UGH! Now I'm dropping hints for a Blackberry to play with but I'll be happy to settle with a nook as a new toy :)
