Noosaville: boating, fishing and picnicking haven on the banks of the Noosa River
Noosaville does not share the glamor and tourist-attracting power of its neighbor, Noosa Heads. However, it is a haven for young families and couples wanting a quiet, romantic getaway. Noosaville, on the banks of the Noosa River, is nestled between Tewantin and Noosa Heads. It has numerous shops and restaurants and shoreline walks and picnic spots. Children love to frolic on the water's edge and dig in the the sand. From Noosaville, you can take a ferry ride or power-boat ride around the Noosa River and surrounds or hire a boat for a leisurely cruise up the river past the islands. Noosaville is part of what is called "The Sunshine Coast" in Queensland.

Why we love Noosaville
Noosaville has its own natural beauty positioned as it is on the banks of the Noosa River. It does not have the hustle and bustle of Noosa Heads but has lots of facilities and great accommodation (which is cheaper than Noosa Heads).We used to take our children to Noosaville when they were younger but once they became teenagers they sought the excitement of Noosa Heads instead. My wife and I still use Noosaville for a quiet getaway.
Noosaville is a stones throw from Noosa Beach and Noosa National Park, the Everglades (for eerie canoeing), Lake Cootharaba (for sailing) and the Colored Sand cliffs of Rainbow Bay in the Cooloola Region.
Noosaville is an integral part of the Noosa Biosphere, one of the global biosphere reserves formally identified by UNESCO.
