Bleach is a popular anime based on a manga by a Japanese artist Masashi Kishimoto sharing same name. It's a story about a fifteen year old Kurosaki Ichigo who is given the powers of a Death God by an injured Death God Rukia, and must act as her substitute by slaying evil spirits called Hollows. He discovers soon that he isn't the only one with special powers, however, and there's also Soul Society who is intent on punishing Rukia for her crime of transferring Death God powers to a human...



In Bleach, Noriaki Sugiyama does the voice of Ishida Uryuu, the last remaining Quincy. Ishida is a proud, yet compassionate person, preferring not to kill if possible. He hates Death Gods because they were indirectly responsible for the destruction of his clan.
