The Squidoo Journey of Norma Budden

This lens will take you to my ten most recently created lenses. The subject matter will vary because my train of thought shifts on any given day, as you are sure to discover.

One day, I may write about child abuse; the next day, I may be reviewing photo software. Come along as I take you on what just might turn out to be a wild and erratic ride.

Dogs come in many shapes and sizes and in many colors, too. They have various temperaments and their presence brings a different feeling into a home.

Below is a list to lenses I've created featuring dogs. Some of these dogs were my own but others were created as part of a journey I took when I delved a little deeper into the world of dogs.

Everyone has someone they admire or would like to emulate, to some degree.

These people enrich our lives in some way and, at times, we cannot help but take a few moments to tell others how proud we are that we've come into contact with these wonderful people.

Health is vital to our well-being and its importance can never be overrated.

When we are healthy, we enjoy life more fully; the future seems bright and it seems we have many years ahead. However, let something interfere with our health and our whole perspective changes.

Dreams and goals are important, indeed. They help shape the present as well as the future. Take a look at the lenses I've created below; some of them are sure to make you think and you'll even have a few laughs in between.

If you are a writer, I'm not sure how you pass your time most days. I''m not sure what areas you are interested in writing about, whether you write primarily online or avoid the Internet most of the time.

This lens will show you where I spend my writing time; it's truly a balancing act but I hope you enjoy the collection of lenses I've created for your reading pleasure.

I like to create tributes to lensmasters who have worked hard on their lenses - hard enough that somewhere along the way someone wanted them to receive a purple star.

For those of you who are not familiar with the term, the purple star is awarded to outstanding lenses but only 20 are granted each week. When you consider there are well over a million lenses on Squidoo, a thousand purple stars a year is not a lot. When you put this in perspective, it means a lens with a purple star is really outstanding.

It doesn't mean that everyone will agree with the premises or points of view shared; it simply means the lens was created well.

Though love is an aspect of every relationships, the lenses contained in this collection are geared more towards couples. Granted, there may be a little overlapping between parenting and relationship lenses, especially when dealing with subjects in common such as forgiveness.

I'm a Squid Angel. In 2010, I had the opportunity to serve as a Squid Angel from early January through early April. During that time, I blessed numerous lenses.

In 2011, I was granted angel wings for a week but my wings never disappeared. Instead, they were turned into permanent wings in two subdivisions.

I enjoy baking and cooking. I generally follow recipes when baking but, when it comes to cooking, I prefer to let my creative juices flow.

Thanks to the media and the Internet, the world doesn't seem to be the large place it once used to be. We get to know more about what is happening with our fellowman.
