I am so glad my poetry page provided a source of comfort for you. I was thinking of your fears so much yesterday evening and felt compelled to provide my poetry link to you. My gut told me it would help you but it's wonderful to receive the confirmation. It's interesting how God works sometimes; sometimes He speaks when a Bible is nowhere in sight.

It would be nice to read about your journey away from fear; actually, it would be a wonderful lens to read. Imagine a life of discovery - because you would see, and think of, everything differently if fear was no longer holding sway over you.

Thanks so much for your kind words and for your rating. You'll be happy to hear that I will continue writing because, honestly, I don't know if I could survive if I stopped.

I love the poem I Do! I also write poetry and published them into books which I sell on amazon. You should think of doing that too, if that appeals to you. My poetry is from the heart mostly and simple. I have mine on a number of my lenses. I enjoyed reading yours.

I must admit that I love the ocean - whether walking along a shoreline or going for boat rides. However, I realize the ocean claims a number of lives each year and I treat it with respect, fully aware of the perils which may even befall people who exercise the most caution.

This is one of my favorite poems; there's just something about it which I can't escape. It probably has a lot to do with having written about a person lost at sea coupled with the hope and gratitude the poem portrays, which also shows a man at, likely, the most humble moment of his life.

Even now, I can sit and ponder the poem and gain more from the words...

There is a link to my external poetry site above and, if you so desire, scroll through the list and check out the poem titled, Face of the Ocean. I have a feeling you may enjoy that one, too.

Thanks again for your beautiful comments.

Wow! I didn't even realize you were a Squidoo angel: I merely sent the link for you to check out since you were the one who inspired me to create the lens in the first place. Wow! I got more than I expected on this one...but thanks! :)
