North Bergen
North Bergen is a town located in Hudson County, NJ that was incorporated as a township on 4/10/1843. Some noteworthy residents include: James J. Braddock, James L. Brooks, Edd Cartier, Ice T, and Ed Murawinski.
Some other local towns of interest include: Guttenberg, Union City, and West New York. They are all within a walking distance and have a decent amount of commerce. I highly recommend checking out Bergenline if you'd like to do some shopping or need to grab a bite as there's a lot of restaurants.
You can also visit the park which is close to the library. The park has a track as well as a playground for children. It also has a basketball court as well as tennis court. There is also a lake which is nice to visit during the summertime especially if you have children. However, be advised that it might be a bit dangerous as there is no barrier around the water. You can then ask questions or discuss local issues such as the education system amongst other things. If you plan on moving there you could ask questions that concern you such as the quality of the local schools which would be useful to know if you had children. Or if you're single and young, you might want to know how the party scene is over there and so on.
