~Platt County Historical Society Museum. Features a country school room, a complete 1857 log cabin (home of Frederick Gottschalk) and a turn-of-the-centruy Barber shop. Take a step back in time!
~Andrew Jackson Higgins National Memorial: This is a MUST see. A memorial to the man who built the "Landing Craft, vehicle personnel, otherwise known as the "Higgins Boat" A full size replica of the LCVP, 3 Bronze Statues, The flags of all 50 States and a memorial wall built with 1,000 bricks. Dedicated to all Military Personnel and their families.

~Trail of Tears Historical Marker:
Another MUST SEE. Marks the heart wrenching journey of the Ponca tribe from their homeland to Oklahoma. Grave of White Buffalo Girl (daughter of Black Elk and Moon Hawk) is located in Neligh. Learn the story of this tragic true story.
~Antelope County Pioneer Jail Museum:

Public Deer hunts are available near Fort Calhoun, in Boyer Chute National Wildlife Refuge
Brookey Bottom Park in Wynot is known by angelers for it's carp, walleye, catfish, drum, paddlefish and sauger.
In Newcastle; Buckskin hills is known for their pheasant, rabbit, waterfowl and quail.

~Ashfall Fossil Beds Historic Park: Fossils of animals that died at a watering hole after a volcanic eruption over 12 million years ago.

~Santee Indian Reservation: Now home to the Santee (since 1868, when the Ponca were "relocated." Prior to the Santee arriving, the Ponca had lived there since recorded history.
Wakefield
~Chicago and Northwest Depot Museum: This depot was once the hub of the community. It is being restored and will have memorabilia from 1800 to present.
Winnebago
~Honoring-The-Clans Sculpture garden and plaza. In the center of the Tribe's Ho Chunk Village stands 12 statues, one for each of the clans
~Winnebago Indian Reservation: Home of the Winnebago Tribe.
~Angel DeCora Museum: Named after the first Winnebago woman to attend college. Ms. DeCora won commendation and awards for her arts and taught them to other Native Americans. Many artifacts and Native American Arts on display
~AllNative.com : Located in Ho Chunk Plaza, many Indian artifacts, hand made jewelry, clothing, books and more.
~Boardwalk back in Time: A wonderfully lifelike 1800's boardwalk complete with working Post Office, antiques, carvings, natural foods. This is a MUST SEE.

- Nice lens!..really informative..like the information interesting places to stay, really helpful...hey, I got a similar site which you guys might like - www.cdokay.com. I also have featured some nice spots where tourists should go, like whitewater rafting. This city sure is one place to visit to. Ciao!
