Why the Northend?

Boise is a great place to live, and if you ask me, the Northend is the best of Boise. Why? There are so many reasons. The Northend is a great walking community. You can grocery shop, gift shop, go out to eat, go to the park or head downtown without ever getting in your car. You have access to the Ridge to Rivers system that has over 125 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. You will know your neighbors. Families here love the great schools and parks. Others enjoy the funky edge you find here.

Most of the Northend lies in an historic district. We have great old houses with so much character. Restoring these homes (and buildings) is a passion shared by many. The community is involved in restoring and preserving our architecture as well. There are always projects in the neighborhood, and you can get involved.

I have lived and worked in the Northend since 1991 and can't imagine calling any place else home. I am a real estate agent specializing in the Northend because it is what I know and love. I'd be happy to share it with you. Please call me if I can answer any questions about living here.

Hyde Park is a pedestrian-friendly area, but are cars creating a safety risk? Some have suggested that the area be closed off to automobiles. What do you think?
