The annual Røros Market opens up in the month of February every year for 5 days. It's a wonderful event to showcase Norwegian tradition and should not to be missed. It's a lively day market with about 200 exhibitors offering their stuffs to the shoppers. Dancing, music and other cultural events fill the evenings and nights with fun and enjoyment.

Spending your Christmas vacation in Norway is an excellent idea to see the traditions and rituals associated with it.

Food of Norway comprises mainly of Tebriks, Skolebrod, Froloff, Boller, Rosinbolle, Skillingsbolle and Flatbrod. Meat is a central ingredient in the Food of Norway; it could be of Elk or Reindeer also. The local alcohol is the Norwegian akevitt.
