Why go on a Diet and Why this Diet?
My name is David Merrick and I'm in great shape. My resting heart rate is thirty-something and I can 10 miles and enjoy it.
So why go on a diet?
Asthma, allergies, and acne. But your reasons will undoubtedly be different. That's what's so great about this diet because it solves a wide range of problems including:
Being Overweight
Indigestion
Fatigue
Do I have your attention?
Good.
Now here's how it works:

The way to solve this problem is simply by neutralizing that acid with more alkaline, or basic, foods.
I present to you my diet that I put together using some of this research. I did the work and the research for you. I hope it works as well for you as it has for me!

- You eat more foods that are alkaline, or are basic on the Ph scale, than are acidic
- And that's it
- Ideally, the ratio of alkaline-to-acidic foods in your diet will be 80:20, but to start off just make small changes. Baby steps are the way to go with any lasting personal change
Why does this work?
- A lot of food we as Americans eat on a regular basis produces acid
- Acid in the bloodstream destroys the magnetic field around our cells
- This causes the cells to stick together more often and triggers the body's inflammatory response
- On a bigger scale, this inflammation can mean allergies, asthma, acne, among many others
