- I haven't seen Not Scary Halloween, but I have read some of Eve's books and just love them.
This is a very nice book lens, and its getting blessed by a Squid Angel today.
Will be lens rolling this too.
Best Wishes,
Susie

- Scary, Scary Halloween is one of my favorite Beginning Reading books. As you say, it is easy for children to memorize and they can use that skill to help them start to recognize words.
When I taught k-1 my children often used this book as a reference when they wanted to spell some of the words. They were easily able to find them because they also had memorized it.

- Eve Bunting is a wonderful and prolific kids' author. Nice lens showcasing her work! My boys used to like The Hallo-wiener (Dav Pilkey). I also have fond memories of reading the 5 Little Pumpkins board book when they were tiny. 5*
