Off the Beaten Track Gift Ideas

A one way trip to Mars ? Well not the nicest gift idea and one that is not yet available but maybe one day. I have to admit at Christmas time getting money is preferable to getting gifts. Well it is just that most gifts are just dull unless they are very expensive. This lens intends just putting up a few "off the radar" ideas that might get your idea juices flowing again.

Gift Categories

We are going to do the obvious here and build a list of cool gift resources based on categories.

Here is our first idea

1) Christmas Gifts
2) Birthday Gifts
3) Wedding Gifts
4) Business and Corporate Gifts

Because Christmas is approaching I may have that at number 1 for now but I'll be putting it lower into new year.

I'm on the lookout for a site that works a bit like eHarmony for people but it matches people with gifts. Just type in 20 things about a person and viola the top 20 gifts ideas appear. If I find one I like I'll be sure to post here.

Personalised Gifts

Personalised Golf Gifts

One of my favorite type of gifts are those than can be customised or personalised. It is really cool to take a fairly standard sort of present and make it 100 times better by adding a personal photo or some little message than makes a personal statement. A really popular niche is the sporting gift and the personalised golf gift is very popular.
