Best Reincarnation Novels Of All Times
Reincarnation is one of my favorite topics and over time I have read a ton of books including novels about reincarnation. While the non-fiction books on past lives are some of my favorites, I do love reading novels that have something about reincarnation (and time travel) as well.
Some stem from real life experiences while others are just novels that entertain - and they definitely entertain and keep me occupied with reading for hours!
So here is my favorite list of the best novels on reincarnation that I have read so far. As I am reading more, I will be adding to this list.

Shown here is Replay by Ken Grimwood, my very favorite novel on past lives and time travel. It is so awesome, I keep re-reading it once every year!

Replay by Ken Grimwood
Replay by Ken Grimwood is one of the most amazing novels I've ever read, and not just because I love the subject of reincarnation and time travel. Here is a more indepth Replay review that I wrote on my personal blog back in 2007 when I first read the book. I keep re-reading it every year every since.
I remember going to Amazon to read the reviews and practically every single person said the very same thing: they could not put the book down. It is just something about not only the topics of past lives and time travel, but also the way the story is written that cuts deep into the core of our humanity.
All I can say is that if you haven't read it yet, do yourself a favor and read it. I consider this book one of those top 100 books to read 'before you die'. It's that good!

Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
Outlander is another one of those books that you simply can't put down once you start reading. First let me tell you that this book is huge. My own copy (an older edition than the one shows on this cover) is over 600 pages long.
Here again time travel and reincarnation meet in the same novel, creating a beautiful tale of love, betrayal, fidelity and desire that will bring you into another world, one that you won't want to come out of and always will want even more!
If you also happen to love historical romances, then you're in for a real treat. For me this book was a real epic, a world onto itself full of war, drama, love and every other emotion known to humankind.

Other Novels by Barbara Erskine
This Body: A Novel of Reincarnation by Laurel Doud
This Body: A Novel Of Reincarnation by Laurel Doud
This is the story of a woman who dies of a heart attack only to wake up one year later inhabiting the body of a drug and alcohol addict person who is half the age of the woman who died.
This is really a great story that goes beyond reincarnation. It is a story very well told and you will like the characters a lot. Also if you've never really thought about reincarnation, the novel really makes think about it more seriously and consider it as something very viable.

"I did not begin when I was born, nor when I was conceived. I have been growing, developing, through incalculable myriads of millenniums...All my previous selves have their voices, echoes, promptings in me...Oh, incalculable times again shall I be born."
- Jack London
Lady of Hay by Barbara Erskine
Lady of Hay by Barabara Erskine
Lady of Hay is another of my top favorite novels about reincarnation. But so is Barbara Erskine overall. Again we see this mix of time travel and reincarnation beautifully told in a story that transcends time.
This is the story of Joanna who is researching her past lives and she goes back 800 years. She becomes Matilda, the Lady of Hay in the Wales of the 12th Century.
It is a mesmerizing story and it's worth getting whether you are reading it because you like Barbara Erskine's novels or because you love reading about reincarnation novels.

My Name Is Memory by Ann Brashares
My Name is Memory by Ann Brashares
This is another wonderful novel about reincarnation. Daniel, a high-school student falls for Lucy, his classmate and claims that they knew each other in a past life. Lucy of course is frightened by this strange interest in her and reincarnation by Daniel, however as she starts to investigate more, the truth will be shocking to her.
Daniel indeed has been meeting her in past lives (where she was known as Sophie) and he is as actually 1500 years old, going from life to life, trying to find Sophie again.
A hauntingly beautiful story that is worth reading. Note that this is the first in a trilogy about reincarnation, and so far only the first book is out. I'm eagerly waiting for the second to be published!

Ferney by James Long
Ferney is another must read novel about reincarnation.

They find an old cottage belonging to somebody called Ferney and Gally becomes very taken both with the cottage as with the old Ferney himself. Did they know each other in a previous life?
Beautiful story of past lives, of time travel and haunting history. A worthwhile read.

- Great list! Blessing from the Books and Writing angel :) I admit that the Outlander series was a little too intense for me, but I do like the theme of reincarnation!
