November Christmas...A Hallmark Movie With A Message

Hallmark Hall of Fame's 241st presentation, November Christmas, had its world premiere when it aired last night. The movie is based on the story of a family struggling to deal with the illness of their young daughter. Their neighbors and, in the end, an entire town come together to help them in their time of need. It is a heartwarming film, which will pull on your heartstrings.

I cannot say it any better than the actress who played the mother in the movie:

"The story itself is about community," Sarah Paulson says, "about this small town and how everybody comes together for our daughter, so this child can have one day of complete happiness. It's a really beautiful, uplifting, heartwarming story."

November Christmas aired on the CBS television network on Sunday, November 28, 2010. Filmed in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada, it featured a cast that included John Corbett, Sam Elliott, Karen Allen, Sarah Paulson and Emily Alyn Lind.

November Christmas is based on a short story written by Greg Coppa and is not really a typical Christmas movie, as it takes place in August and includes the celebration of Halloween and Christmas in that season. It is, however, another quietly beautiful Hallmark movie with a theme that is certainly worthy of being celebrated in the Christmas season.

On this page, find more information about November Christmas and some answers to questions you might have about the movie like where you can buy it or who sang that amazingly beautiful song...

Can I Buy The Soundtrack For November Christmas?

The score or soundtrack of November Christmas was beautiful. Particularly noteworthy, at least for me, was the song sang by Celtic folk singer, Kate Rusby called, 'The Wild Goose.'

As far as I can tell, there is no movie score available for November Christmas. However, you can download Rusby's The Wild Goose from Amazon by clicking right here or you can buy Kate Rusby's new album '10,' which features her new version of The Wild Goose released on November 22nd I assume in conjunction with November Christmas, by clicking right here. At that second link you will also be able to listen to clips from The Wild Goose and the other tracks on this CD.

AMAZON CUSTOMER REVIEW:

"If you aren't already a Rusby fan and are trying to decide which album to buy first, make it this one. For one thing, "10" just has more music on it, making it a better buy, but the real reason is that this is Kate at her best--every song is a gem. I've played this album for at least 20 people, all with different musical tastes, and every one has said, Wow." ~ A Customer

Hello to a Hallmark fan! I also love "sad movies" and the accent Hallmark productions have on family and values. Happy Holidays!

I remember seeing the previews for this movie, but couldn't let myself watch it, I could barely get through the commercials without turning into a crying bubbling mess!
