Maggie has drawn the map of Nowhere Land directly from her own imagination, as a place for her favorite toys, Hamilton and the Beast, to live. Everything in Nowhere Land is colored with the brilliant hues of a little girl's imagination, from the bright red spots of the Beast, to dancing jellybeans, giant carrots, and everything else under the sun.

Hamilton
Hamilton loves cleaning, baking, and more than anything else keeping his box and the rest of Nowhere Land neat and tidy. He's also very cautious when they encounter new things and often needs encouragement from Maggie. Maggie and the Ferocious Wiki!
Maggie and the Ferocious Beast is an animated television series based on the books by Michael Paraskevas and his mother Betty. It currently airs on the Canadian channels Disney Channel, Teletoon, Treehouse TV, and Knowledge and the U.S. television network Nick Jr.
In the show, five-year-old Maggie creates her own map of her imaginary world Nowhere Land. She imagines that her stuffed toys Beast and Hamilton Hocks come to life. The show also features friends like mice, cows, and rabbits.
The theme song for the show begins with: "Maggie and the Ferocious Beast in Nowhere Land / In Nowhere Land / Come along if you can." Maggie and The Ferocious Beast is produced by Nelvana and directed by Jamie Whiteney and Stuart Shankly. The series debuted in 1997.
The Beast
The Ferocious Beast isn't Ferocious at all. He's just a gentle, loveable, giant. His large yellow body is covered in big red polka dot's that have a life of their own - always moving about, changing and even flying off his body sometimes.
