Sounds like you might need to have a sit down with your boss and ask them what their real expectations are speed or safety? You can't adequately take care of that many patients without making some big mistakes. How long have you been a NP? What are the job prospects in your area? I made the mistake of not listening to gut instinct on my first job and was miserable. Good luck!
  • ppretty Jul 26, 2009 @ 8:35 pm | delete
Is there anyone out there that feels overwhelmed and worked like a doctor but paid like a NP???? I'm caring for 22 pts/day and expected (once fall comes and business picks up) to see 30/day. I just started this job and already feeling overwhelmed and underappreciated.

Nice lens. Yes, anybody can find, download and print free Medical and Health forms on the net but be cautious as not all sites offer professionally-drafted forms. Most are only fill-in-the-blanks type forms which leave out important legal requirements. So, it's a good idea to go to a law site run by attorneys. Frank Sullivan legal forms Website Owner.

hello npssavelives! Yes, the link i've provided have some good info but I'm still apprehensive about it so that's why I searched for someone like you that might shed light on it. anyway, i appreciate for the time you took and once again, thanks for sharing your knowledge to everyone!

Cannedguds, the most natural way to cure BV is to avoid going to medical providers for unnecessary antibiotics. Too often, they throw the natural vaginal balance off. The link that you left had a lot of good information already on it. Thanks for leaving a question!

Good info on your lens. You may want to include NP Central on you link list - get listserves for NP's.http://www.npcentral.net/index.nn.shtml. And for NP's in private practice, NPBusiness (http://www.npbusiness.org) is another link to consider.

Thanks for all you do to get the word out about NP's
